Whoever is faithful in very little is also faithful in much, and whoever is unrighteous in very little is also unrighteous in much.So if you have not been faithful with the unrighteous money, who will trust you with what is genuine?And if you have not been faithful with what belongs to someone else, who will give you what is your own?

and said to Moses,“ The people are bringing more than is needed for the construction of the work the Lord commanded to be done.”After Moses gave an order, they sent a proclamation throughout the camp:“ Let no man or woman make anything else as an offering for the sanctuary.” So the people stopped.

We are taking this precaution so no one can criticize us about this large sum administered by us.For we are making provision for what is right, not only before the Lord but also before men.

A faithful man will have many blessings, but one in a hurry to get rich will not go unpunished.

When they had finished, they brought the rest of the money to the king and Jehoiada, and with it were made articles for the Lord’s temple: articles for the service and for the burnt offerings, and also dishes and other objects of gold and silver. As long as Jehoiada lived, burnt offerings were presented continually in the temple of the Lord. (niv)

I put in charge of Jerusalem my brother Hanani, along with Hananiah the commander of the citadel, because he was a man of integrity and feared God more than most people do. (niv)
