Moreover, Manasseh also shed so much innocent blood that he filled Jerusalem from end to end— besides the sin that he had caused Judah to commit, so that they did evil in the eyes of the Lord.

Manasseh also spilled the blood of many people who weren’t guilty of doing anything wrong. He spilled so much blood that he filled Jerusalem with it from one end of the city to the other. And he caused Judah to commit sin. So they also did what was evil in the eyes of the Lord.

因猶大王馬拿西、行可惡之事、較昔亞摩哩族尤甚、使猶大人崇拜偶像、蹈於罪愆。

如殺人命、則污衊斯土、殺人者未償命、則污仍不去、

耶路撒冷乎、耶路撒冷乎、爾殺先知、石擊奉使者、我欲集爾赤子、似母雞集雛翼下、已幾何時、惟爾不欲、

祭司諸長取其金曰、此乃血價、貯庫非宜、

試以禍福、刺以鋒刃、衣綿羊山羊之皮、遨遊無方、困窮、患難、艱辛、

流離於萬邦、斯何故與、因猶大王希西家子馬拿西所行於耶路撒冷、

彼違逆予、凟我聖所、在此焚香、以敬他上帝、他上帝之聖名、自厥祖以迄子孫、更逮猶大國王、未嘗聞也、亦殺無辜、流血遍染此所。

爾虐遇貧民、多殺不辜、血染衣裾、毋庸掘地以見、隨處露跡。

昔耶和華諭大闢、及其子所羅門曰、我於以色列支派諸邑中、簡耶路撒冷、創造殿宇、為籲我名之所、歷世勿替、如以色列族恪守我命、循我僕摩西所傳者、我不使之復行遷徙、離我所錫列祖之地、然上帝雖有是命、民不聽從、馬拿西作亞大綠像、置諸殿間、誘民作惡、較耶和華在以色列族中、所滅之異邦人尤甚。

耶和華歟、爾贖以色列民、願赦其罪、勿以殺人之罪、歸之無辜、於是斯罪可赦。爾既行善於耶和華前、則殺人之罪不歸於爾。○

每曰、若我在我祖時、則不與謀流先知之血、如是、爾自證為殺先知者之裔、

謂亞倫曰、斯民何負於爾、使陷重罪。

緣馬拿西犯罪、屢殺不辜、血流遍耶路撒冷、耶和華弗赦、降災於猶大族、而驅逐之。

不虐遇遠人、不害孤寡、不殺無辜、不崇事他上帝、以召禍患、

因以色列族作偶像、干耶和華震怒、故必擊之、若萑葦搖於水中、拔以色列族之根株、出於所錫列祖之腴壤、散於河外。蓋耶羅破暗已干罪戾、令以色列族陷罪、故耶和華必棄以色列族。
