以賽亞說：「耶和華必成就他所說的這話。這是耶和華給你的預兆：你要日影向前進十度呢？或是要往後退十度呢？」

以赛亚说：“耶和华要给你一个兆头，证明祂言出必行。你要日影前进十度还是后退十度呢？”

以赛亚说：“这就是耶和华给你的征兆，显明耶和华必成全他应许的这事：你要日影向前进十级或是倒退十级呢？”

以賽亞說：「耶和華必成就他所說的。這是他給你的兆頭：你要日影向前進十度呢？是要往後退十度呢？」

以賽亞說：「耶和華必成就他所說的這話。這是耶和華給你的預兆：你要日影向前進十度呢？或是要往後退十度呢？」

以賽亞說：「耶和華要給你一個兆頭，證明祂言出必行。你要日影前進十度還是後退十度呢？」

以賽亞說：“這就是耶和華給你的徵兆，顯明耶和華必成全他應許的這事：你要日影向前進十級或是倒退十級呢？”

以賽亞說：『永恆主必成就他所說到的事；他所要給你的兆頭是這樣：日影必向前進十步呢？或是要往後退十步呢？』

以賽亞曰、耶和華必成所言、有其徵焉、爾欲日影進十度乎、抑退十度乎、

以賽亞曰、耶和華所言有應、必以一事為徵、使日影或進十分、或退十分、任爾所欲。

Isaiah answered,“ This is the Lord’s sign to you that the Lord will do what he has promised: Shall the shadow go forward ten steps, or shall it go back ten steps?”

Isaiah answered,“ The Lord will do what he has promised. Here is his sign to you. Do you want the shadow the sun makes to go forward ten steps? Or do you want it to go back ten steps?”

And Isaiah said,“ This shall be the sign to you from the Lord, that the Lord will do the thing that he has promised: shall the shadow go forward ten steps, or go back ten steps?”

Isaiah replied,“ This is the sign from the Lord to prove that he will do as he promised. Would you like the shadow on the sundial to go forward ten steps or backward ten steps?”

Isaiah said,“ This is the sign to you from the LORD that he will do what he has promised: Should the shadow go ahead ten steps or go back ten steps?”

Isaiah said,“ This shall be the sign to you from the Lord, that the Lord will perform the word that He has spoken: shall the shadow go forward ten steps or go back ten steps?”

Then Isaiah said,“ This is the sign to you from the Lord, that the Lord will do the thing which He has spoken: shall the shadow go forward ten degrees or go backward ten degrees?”

And Isaiah said, This shall be the sign unto thee from Jehovah, that Jehovah will do the thing that he hath spoken: shall the shadow go forward ten steps, or go back ten steps?

Isaiah said,“ This is the sign to you from the Lord that He will do what He has promised: Should the shadow go ahead 10 steps or go back 10 steps?”

And Isaiah said, This sign shalt thou have of the LORD, that the LORD will do the thing that he hath spoken: shall the shadow go forward ten degrees, or go back ten degrees?

Isaiah replied,“ This is your sign from the LORD confirming that the LORD will do what he has said. Do you want the shadow to move ahead ten steps or to go back ten steps?”

Isaiah said,“ This will be the sign to you from Yahweh, that Yahweh will do the thing that he has spoken: should the shadow go forward ten steps, or go back ten steps?”

「耶和華必成就他所說的這話。這是耶和華給你的預兆：看哪，我要使亞哈斯日晷上隨太陽前進的影子，往後退十度。」於是，在日晷上照下來的日影果然往後退了十度。

法利賽人出來盤問耶穌，要求他從天上顯個神蹟給他們看，想要試探他。耶穌心裏深深嘆息，說：「這世代為甚麼求神蹟呢？我實在告訴你們，沒有神蹟給這世代看。」

法利賽人和撒都該人來試探耶穌，請他顯個來自天上的神蹟給他們看。耶穌回答他們：「傍晚天發紅，你們就說：『明日天晴。』早晨天色又紅又暗，你們就說：『今日有風雨。』你們知道分辨天上的氣象，倒不能分辨這個時代的神蹟。邪惡淫亂的世代求看神蹟，除了約拿的神蹟以外，再沒有神蹟給他們看了。」於是耶穌離開他們走了。

當眾人越來越擁擠的時候，耶穌說：「這世代是一個邪惡的世代。他們求看神蹟，除了約拿的神蹟以外，再沒有神蹟給他們看了。約拿怎樣為尼尼微人成了神蹟，人子也要照樣為這世代的人成為神蹟。
