They said to him,“ Hezekiah says,‘ Today is a day of trouble, of rebuke, and of rejection; for the children have come to the point of birth, and there is no strength to deliver them.

他们对他说：“希西家这样说：‘今天是痛苦、责罚和侮辱的日子，好像婴儿的产期到了，却没有力量生产。

對他說：「希西家如此說：『今日是急難、責罰、凌辱的日子，就如婦人將要生產嬰孩，卻沒有力量生產。

他們對他說：「希西家如此說：『今日是急難、懲罰、凌辱的日子，就如嬰孩快要出生，卻沒有力氣生產。

他們對他說：「希西家如此說：『今日是急難、懲罰、凌辱的日子，就如嬰孩快要出生，卻沒有力氣生產。

對他說：「希西迦說，『今天是遭難、蒙羞、受辱的日子，就像嬰兒要出生，產婦卻無力生產一樣。

他們對他說：“希西家這樣說：‘今天是痛苦、責罰和侮辱的日子，好像嬰兒的產期到了，卻沒有力量生產。

對他說：『希西家這麼說：「今日是有急難、受責罰、受侮慢的日子；就如嬰兒臨到生產的關頭，卻沒有力量生出來。

謂之曰、希西家云、今乃急難譴責羞辱之日、子臨產、而無力出之、

曰、希西家云、今日我遘患難、有譴責我、欺蔑我者、若婦當產而無力、

曰、希西家如是云、今日乃急難禍患禍患或作譴責羞辱羞辱或作褻瀆之日、若婦將分娩、而無力生子、

They told him,“ This is what Hezekiah says: This day is a day of distress and rebuke and disgrace, as when children come to the moment of birth and there is no strength to deliver them.

They told Isaiah,“ Hezekiah says,‘ Today we’re in great trouble. The Lord is warning us. He’s bringing shame on us. Sometimes babies come to the moment when they should be born. But their mothers aren’t strong enough to allow them to be born. Today we are like those mothers. We aren’t strong enough to save ourselves.

They said to him,“ Thus says Hezekiah, This day is a day of distress, of rebuke, and of disgrace; children have come to the point of birth, and there is no strength to bring them forth.

They told him,“ This is what King Hezekiah says: Today is a day of trouble, insults, and disgrace. It is like when a child is ready to be born, but the mother has no strength to deliver the baby.

They said to him,“ This is what Hezekiah says:‘ Today is a day of distress, rebuke, and disgrace, for children have come to the point of birth, but there is no strength to deliver them.

And they said to him,“ This is what Hezekiah says:‘ This day is a day of distress, rebuke, and humiliation; for children have come to the point of birth, and there is no strength to deliver them.

And they said to him,“ Thus says Hezekiah:‘ This day is a day of trouble, and rebuke, and blasphemy; for the children have come to birth, but there is no strength to bring them forth.

And they said unto him, Thus saith Hezekiah, This day is a day of trouble, and of rebuke, and of contumely; for the children are come to the birth, and there is not strength to bring forth.

They said to him,“ This is what Hezekiah says:‘ Today is a day of distress, rebuke, and disgrace, for children have come to the point of birth, but there is no strength to deliver them.

And they said unto him, Thus saith Hezekiah, This day[ is] a day of trouble, and of rebuke, and blasphemy: for the children are come to the birth, and[ there is] not strength to bring forth.

“ This is what Hezekiah says:‘ This is a day of distress, insults, and humiliation, as when a baby is ready to leave the birth canal, but the mother lacks the strength to push it through.

When you rebuke and correct man for iniquity, you consume his wealth like a moth. Surely every man is but a breath.” Selah.

For Yahweh says:“ We have heard a voice of trembling; a voice of fear, and not of peace.Ask now, and see whether a man travails with child. Why do I see every man with his hands on his waist, as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned pale?Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it. It is even the time of Jacob’s trouble; but he will be saved out of it.

The sorrows of a travailing woman will come on him. He is an unwise son; for when it is time, he doesn’t come to the opening of the womb.

Just as a woman with child, who draws near the time of her delivery, is in pain and cries out in her pangs, so we have been before you, Yahweh.We have been with child. We have been in pain. We gave birth, it seems, only to wind. We have not worked any deliverance in the earth; neither have the inhabitants of the world fallen.

Have mercy on us, Yahweh, have mercy on us, for we have endured much contempt.Our soul is exceedingly filled with the scoffing of those who are at ease, with the contempt of the proud.

The king says,‘ Don’t let Hezekiah deceive you; for he will not be able to deliver you out of his hand.

while it is said,“ Today if you will hear his voice, don’t harden your hearts, as in the rebellion.”For who, when they heard, rebelled? Wasn’t it all those who came out of Egypt led by Moses?

Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to be delivered?” says Yahweh.“ Shall I who cause to give birth shut the womb?” says your God.

I will go and return to my place, until they acknowledge their offense, and seek my face. In their affliction they will seek me earnestly.”“ Come! Let’s return to Yahweh; for he has torn us to pieces, and he will heal us; he has injured us, and he will bind up our wounds.

Don’t harden your heart, as at Meribah, as in the day of Massah in the wilderness,
