This is the word that the Lord has spoken against him:“‘ Virgin Daughter Zion despises you and mocks you. Daughter Jerusalem tosses her head as you flee.

Here is the message the Lord has spoken against him. The Lord says,“‘ You will not win the battle over Zion. Its people hate you and make fun of you. The people of Jerusalem lift up their heads proudly as you run away.

This is the word that the Lord has spoken concerning him:“ She despises you, she scorns you— the virgin daughter of Zion; she wags her head behind you— the daughter of Jerusalem.

And the Lord has spoken this word against him:“ The virgin daughter of Zion despises you and laughs at you. The daughter of Jerusalem shakes her head in derision as you flee.

This is the word the LORD has spoken against him: Virgin Daughter Zion despises you and scorns you; Daughter Jerusalem shakes her head behind your back.

This is the word that the Lord has spoken against him:‘ She, the virgin daughter of Zion, has shown contempt for you and mocked you; She, the daughter of Jerusalem, has shaken her head behind you!

This is the word which the Lord has spoken concerning him:‘ The virgin, the daughter of Zion, Has despised you, laughed you to scorn; The daughter of Jerusalem Has shaken her head behind your back!

爾以我言播告於民、耶利米曰、斯民遭難孔艱、可為晝夜痛哭流涕也。

浸假爾與我易地以處、則我亦能長言以責爾、搖首以欺爾。

余為眾所凌辱、見我而搖首兮、

凡過耶路撒冷者、鼓掌搖首、作怨憤之聲、曰、天下素稱華國樂土者、非此邑乎。

見予之人、必加戲笑、張吻而搖首曰、彼恃耶和華、若耶和華悅之、今必見拯。

過者誚之、搖首曰、

迦勒底國巴比倫都譬諸女主、失位而坐塗炭、喪其容儀、

耶和華又曰、我必復建以色列國、譬彼處女、執鼗相從、舞蹈而出、忻喜懽忭、

以東人居於烏士、毋庸喜樂、惟此苦杯、必為爾飲、以致酩酊、裸爾身體兮。

巴比倫之邑民兮、昔爾害予、擲嬰孩於石、今有人待爾若此者、必得純嘏兮。

惟爾迦勒底邦列國、稱之為主母、必囚於幽暗之處、拘於荒僻之所、

亞麼士子以賽亞遣人告希西家曰、以色列族之上帝耶和華云、爾祈禱我、攻亞述王西拿基立、當以我言告之曰、郇邑未字之女、藐視爾、戲笑爾、即耶路撒冷之女、其頷首也、亦適以欺爾。爾所侮所欺者為誰、爾白眼而視、疾聲而呼、欲攻誰乎、豈非以色列族之聖者乎。爾遣僕侮耶和華云、我率眾車、已躋山巔、在利巴嫩旁、斫柏香木之高者、松柏之美者、我必造其極處、奪其良田、我鑿井而飲、所經之地、圍其城垣、絕其汲道、耶和華云、爾豈不聞自古以來、作之者我、定之者亦我、今爾變城垣為瓦礫、乃我使之然。彼民荏弱、驚懼懷羞、如山野之蔬、屋上之草、未及其長、為風所暴、爾之居處、爾之出入、爾之狂妄、悖逆乎我、我知之矣、因爾狂妄驕奢、升聞於上、故必置圈於爾鼻、置勒於爾口、使爾仍由其途而返。當告以色列民曰、今歲不耕而稔者、爾其食之、明年亦然、至於三年、可稼可穡、植葡萄園而食其果、既遇斯事、可以為徵。猶大之遺民、必下深其根、上結其實。耶路撒冷之民、將出郇山、得救之人將往、因我萬有之主耶和華熱中、必有此為、遂指亞述王、語民曰、彼必不入此城、不以干戈弓矢陳於前、不築壘以攻擊、必由所來之途而返、不入此城、我為己榮、亦為我僕大闢故、將扞衛此城、加以援手、我耶和華所言如此。

郇之女耶路撒冷之女、當欣喜歡呼、爾王涖臨、秉公義、施救援、溫柔而乘驢、及驢之小者、

主集列邦之民、會伐我猶大、我有能之士、遭其蹂躪、我勇敢之卒、惕服其威兮、我之處女被踐、若踐酒醡兮。

故我耶和華曰、我視以色列族、有若處女、惟彼所行、甚屬難堪、即異邦人亦未有此。

大失居民、遨遊於四方、如河水四溢、推羅人不復挾制爾矣。

今余得救、忻喜不勝、頌揚爾名於郇門兮。

以色列族之處女、一蹶不能復起、仆於斯土、無人扶翼。

惟爾郇邑之山、耶路撒冷之民、若守羊牢之戍樓、甲於眾邑、後必治理列邦、與昔無異、

西頓人見敗、若處子被玷、不復忻喜、雖往基底、不獲安居、

郇僅孤城、所存無幾、猶葡萄園之廬、瓜田之舍、被圍之邑而已。
