‘ Tell Hezekiah king of Judah this:“ Don’t let your God in whom you trust deceive you, saying, Jerusalem will not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.

“你们要对犹大王希西家如此说：‘不要听你所倚靠的上帝欺哄你说：耶路撒冷必不交在亚述王的手中。

“你们要对犹大王希西家如此说：‘不要听你所倚靠的神欺哄你说：耶路撒冷必不交在亚述王的手中。

“不要让你所倚靠的上帝愚弄你，说什么耶路撒冷必不会被亚述王攻陷。

“你们要对犹大王希西家说：‘不要让你所信靠的神欺骗你说：耶路撒冷不会交在亚述王的手中。

「你們對猶大王希西家如此說：『不要聽你所倚靠的神欺哄你，說耶路撒冷必不交在亞述王的手中。

「你們要對猶大王希西家如此說：『不要聽你所倚靠的上帝欺哄你說：耶路撒冷必不交在亞述王的手中。

「你們要對猶大王希西家如此說：『不要聽你所倚靠的神欺哄你說：耶路撒冷必不交在亞述王的手中。

「不要讓你所倚靠的上帝愚弄你，說什麼耶路撒冷必不會被亞述王攻陷。

“你們要對猶大王希西家說：‘不要讓你所信靠的神欺騙你說：耶路撒冷不會交在亞述王的手中。

『你們去對猶大王希西家這麼說：「不要讓你的上帝、你所倚靠的神欺哄你說：耶路撒冷必不至於交在亞述王手裏。

當告猶大王希西家云、爾所恃之上帝、謂耶路撒冷必不付於亞述王手、爾勿為其所欺、

當告猶大王希西家云、爾所恃之上帝、曾言耶路撒冷必不陷於亞述王、勿為所誘。

當如是告猶大王希西家曰、爾勿為爾恃之神所惑、自言耶路撒冷必不至陷於亞述王手、

“ Say to Hezekiah king of Judah: Do not let the god you depend on deceive you when he says,‘ Jerusalem will not be given into the hands of the king of Assyria.’

“ Tell Hezekiah, the king of Judah,‘ Don’t let the god you depend on trick you. He says,“ Jerusalem will not be handed over to the king of Assyria.” But don’t believe him.

“ Thus shall you speak to Hezekiah king of Judah:‘ Do not let your God in whom you trust deceive you by promising that Jerusalem will not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.

“ This message is for King Hezekiah of Judah. Don’t let your God, in whom you trust, deceive you with promises that Jerusalem will not be captured by the king of Assyria.

“ Say this to King Hezekiah of Judah:‘ Don’t let your God, on whom you rely, deceive you by promising that Jerusalem will not be handed over to the king of Assyria.

“ This is what you shall say to Hezekiah king of Judah:‘ Do not let your God in whom you trust deceive you by saying,“ Jerusalem will not be handed over to the king of Assyria.”

“ Thus you shall speak to Hezekiah king of Judah, saying:‘ Do not let your God in whom you trust deceive you, saying,“ Jerusalem shall not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.”

Thus shall ye speak to Hezekiah king of Judah, saying, Let not thy God in whom thou trustest deceive thee, saying, Jerusalem shall not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.

“ Say this to Hezekiah king of Judah:‘ Don’t let your God, whom you trust, deceive you by promising that Jerusalem will not be handed over to the king of Assyria.

Thus shall ye speak to Hezekiah king of Judah, saying, Let not thy God in whom thou trustest deceive thee, saying, Jerusalem shall not be delivered into the hand of the king of Assyria.

“ Tell King Hezekiah of Judah this:‘ Don’t let your God in whom you trust mislead you when he says,“ Jerusalem will not be handed over to the king of Assyria.”

He trusted in Yahweh, the God of Israel; so that after him was no one like him among all the kings of Judah, nor among them that were before him.

The king says,‘ Don’t let Hezekiah deceive you; for he will not be able to deliver you out of his hand.Don’t let Hezekiah make you trust in Yahweh, saying,“ Yahweh will surely deliver us, and this city shall not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.”

“ Thus you shall speak to Hezekiah king of Judah, saying,‘ Don’t let your God in whom you trust deceive you, saying,“ Jerusalem won’t be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.”Behold, you have heard what the kings of Assyria have done to all lands, by destroying them utterly. Shall you be delivered?Have the gods of the nations delivered them, which my fathers have destroyed, Gozan, Haran, Rezeph, and the children of Eden who were in Telassar?Where is the king of Hamath, and the king of Arpad, and the king of the city of Sepharvaim, of Hena, and Ivvah?’”Hezekiah received the letter from the hand of the messengers and read it. Then Hezekiah went up to Yahweh’s house, and spread it before Yahweh.

Now therefore don’t let Hezekiah deceive you, nor persuade you in this way. Don’t believe him, for no god of any nation or kingdom was able to deliver his people out of my hand, and out of the hand of my fathers. How much less will your God deliver you out of my hand?”His servants spoke yet more against Yahweh God, and against his servant Hezekiah.He also wrote letters insulting Yahweh, the God of Israel, and speaking against him, saying,“ As the gods of the nations of the lands, which have not delivered their people out of my hand, so shall the God of Hezekiah not deliver his people out of my hand.”They called out with a loud voice in the Jews’ language to the people of Jerusalem who were on the wall, to frighten them, and to trouble them; that they might take the city.They spoke of the God of Jerusalem as of the gods of the peoples of the earth, which are the work of men’s hands.
