“你们要对犹大王希西家如此说：‘不要听你所倚靠的神欺哄你说：耶路撒冷必不交在亚述王的手中。

“不要让你所倚靠的上帝愚弄你，说什么耶路撒冷必不会被亚述王攻陷。

“你们要对犹大王希西家说：‘不要让你所信靠的神欺骗你说：耶路撒冷不会交在亚述王的手中。

「你們對猶大王希西家如此說：『不要聽你所倚靠的神欺哄你，說耶路撒冷必不交在亞述王的手中。

「你們要對猶大王希西家如此說：『不要聽你所倚靠的上帝欺哄你說：耶路撒冷必不交在亞述王的手中。

「你們要對猶大王希西家如此說：『不要聽你所倚靠的神欺哄你說：耶路撒冷必不交在亞述王的手中。

「不要讓你所倚靠的上帝愚弄你，說什麼耶路撒冷必不會被亞述王攻陷。

“你們要對猶大王希西家說：‘不要讓你所信靠的神欺騙你說：耶路撒冷不會交在亞述王的手中。

『你們去對猶大王希西家這麼說：「不要讓你的上帝、你所倚靠的神欺哄你說：耶路撒冷必不至於交在亞述王手裏。

當告猶大王希西家云、爾所恃之上帝、謂耶路撒冷必不付於亞述王手、爾勿為其所欺、

當告猶大王希西家云、爾所恃之上帝、曾言耶路撒冷必不陷於亞述王、勿為所誘。

當如是告猶大王希西家曰、爾勿為爾恃之神所惑、自言耶路撒冷必不至陷於亞述王手、

“ Say to Hezekiah king of Judah: Do not let the god you depend on deceive you when he says,‘ Jerusalem will not be given into the hands of the king of Assyria.’

“ Tell Hezekiah, the king of Judah,‘ Don’t let the god you depend on trick you. He says,“ Jerusalem will not be handed over to the king of Assyria.” But don’t believe him.

“ Thus shall you speak to Hezekiah king of Judah:‘ Do not let your God in whom you trust deceive you by promising that Jerusalem will not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.

“ This message is for King Hezekiah of Judah. Don’t let your God, in whom you trust, deceive you with promises that Jerusalem will not be captured by the king of Assyria.

“ Say this to King Hezekiah of Judah:‘ Don’t let your God, on whom you rely, deceive you by promising that Jerusalem will not be handed over to the king of Assyria.

“ This is what you shall say to Hezekiah king of Judah:‘ Do not let your God in whom you trust deceive you by saying,“ Jerusalem will not be handed over to the king of Assyria.”

“ Thus you shall speak to Hezekiah king of Judah, saying:‘ Do not let your God in whom you trust deceive you, saying,“ Jerusalem shall not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.”

Thus shall ye speak to Hezekiah king of Judah, saying, Let not thy God in whom thou trustest deceive thee, saying, Jerusalem shall not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.

“ Say this to Hezekiah king of Judah:‘ Don’t let your God, whom you trust, deceive you by promising that Jerusalem will not be handed over to the king of Assyria.

Thus shall ye speak to Hezekiah king of Judah, saying, Let not thy God in whom thou trustest deceive thee, saying, Jerusalem shall not be delivered into the hand of the king of Assyria.

“ Tell King Hezekiah of Judah this:‘ Don’t let your God in whom you trust mislead you when he says,“ Jerusalem will not be handed over to the king of Assyria.”

‘ Tell Hezekiah king of Judah this:“ Don’t let your God in whom you trust deceive you, saying, Jerusalem will not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.

Hezekiah trusted in the Lord, the God of Israel. There was no one like him among all the kings of Judah, either before him or after him. (niv)

This is what the king says: Do not let Hezekiah deceive you. He cannot deliver you from my hand.Do not let Hezekiah persuade you to trust in the Lord when he says,‘ The Lord will surely deliver us; this city will not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.’ (niv)

“ Say to Hezekiah king of Judah: Do not let the god you depend on deceive you when he says,‘ Jerusalem will not be given into the hands of the king of Assyria.’Surely you have heard what the kings of Assyria have done to all the countries, destroying them completely. And will you be delivered?Did the gods of the nations that were destroyed by my predecessors deliver them— the gods of Gozan, Harran, Rezeph and the people of Eden who were in Tel Assar?Where is the king of Hamath or the king of Arpad? Where are the kings of Lair, Sepharvaim, Hena and Ivvah?”Hezekiah received the letter from the messengers and read it. Then he went up to the temple of the Lord and spread it out before the Lord. (niv)

Now do not let Hezekiah deceive you and mislead you like this. Do not believe him, for no god of any nation or kingdom has been able to deliver his people from my hand or the hand of my predecessors. How much less will your god deliver you from my hand!”Sennacherib’s officers spoke further against the Lord God and against his servant Hezekiah.The king also wrote letters ridiculing the Lord, the God of Israel, and saying this against him:“ Just as the gods of the peoples of the other lands did not rescue their people from my hand, so the god of Hezekiah will not rescue his people from my hand.”Then they called out in Hebrew to the people of Jerusalem who were on the wall, to terrify them and make them afraid in order to capture the city.They spoke about the God of Jerusalem as they did about the gods of the other peoples of the world— the work of human hands. (niv)
