He held fast to the Lord and did not stop following him; he kept the commands the Lord had given Moses.

Hezekiah remained faithful to the Lord. He didn’t stop serving him. He obeyed the commands the Lord had given Moses.

For he held fast to the Lord. He did not depart from following him, but kept the commandments that the Lord commanded Moses.

He remained faithful to the Lord in everything, and he carefully obeyed all the commands the Lord had given Moses.

He remained faithful to the LORD and did not turn from following him but kept the commands the LORD had commanded Moses.

For he clung to the Lord; he did not desist from following Him, but kept His commandments, which the Lord had commanded Moses.

只要照着你们一直以来所行的，紧紧倚靠耶和华你们的神。

你要敬畏耶和华你的神，事奉他，依靠他，奉他的名起誓。

“如果你们爱我，就要遵守我的命令。

连犹大人也不持守耶和华他们的神的吩咐，随从以色列人所行的习俗。

耶和华曾藉着他的众先知和先见警告以色列人和犹大人说：“从你们的恶道上转回吧！谨守我的吩咐和我的律例，就是我曾吩咐你们的祖先，和藉着我的仆人众先知传递给你们的一切律法。”

我们遵守神的命令，就是爱他了；而且他的命令是不难遵守的，

这约就是我把你们的列祖从埃及地、从铁炉那里领出来的那天所吩咐他们的，说：你们要听从我的话，照着我吩咐你们的一切话去行；这样，你们就作我的子民，我也作你们的神。

如果你们遵守我的命令，就必定住在我的爱里，正像我遵守了我父的命令，住在他的爱里一样。

他到了那里，看见神所施的恩，就很欢喜，劝勉众人坚心靠主。

你们若行我所吩咐你们的，就是我的朋友了。

那领受我的命令，并且遵守的，就是爱我的；爱我的，我父必定爱他，我也要爱他，并且要亲自向他显现。”

他们丢弃耶和华他们神的一切吩咐，为自己做了两个牛犊的铸像，又做亚舍拉，并且敬拜天上的万象和服事巴力；
