今請以質、予我主亞述王、若能備斯騎馬者、我則予爾馬二千、不然、曷能禦我主之僕、軍長至微之一、豈恃埃及、得其車騎耶、

便哈達更遣人曰、撒瑪利亞之塵、若足從我之眾、各取一掬、則願諸神罰我維倍、

彼曰、我之所為、乃以己手之力、己心之智、我固聰慧、曾移列國之界、虜其貨財、猶如強者傾覆居位之人、我得列國之貨財、若取諸巢、我畧全地、若拾遺卵、無有鼓翼、啟口鳴噪者也、○

非利士人環視、見大衛則藐之、蓋其年少、色亦貌美、

又謂大衛曰、爾來、我取爾肉、給於空中之鳥、野間之獸、
