In the ninth year of Hoshea, the king of Assyria captured Samaria and deported the Israelites to Assyria. He settled them in Halah, in Gozan on the Habor River and in the towns of the Medes.

Finally, the king of Assyria captured Samaria. It was in the ninth year of Hoshea. The king of Assyria took the Israelites away from their own land. He sent them off to Assyria. He made some of them live in Halah. He made others live in Gozan on the Habor River. And he made others live in the towns of the Medes.

In the ninth year of Hoshea, the king of Assyria captured Samaria, and he carried the Israelites away to Assyria and placed them in Halah, and on the Habor, the river of Gozan, and in the cities of the Medes.

Finally, in the ninth year of King Hoshea’s reign, Samaria fell, and the people of Israel were exiled to Assyria. They were settled in colonies in Halah, along the banks of the Habor River in Gozan, and in the cities of the Medes.

因此，以色列的神激动了亚述王普勒的心，就是亚述王提革拉．毗尼色的心，他就把流本支派、迦得支派和玛拿西半个支派的人掳到哈腊、哈博和哈拉，以及歌散河边，他们的后裔直到今日还在那里。

撒玛利亚必承担自己罪的刑罚，因为他背叛了他的神。他们必倒在刀下。他们的婴孩被摔死，他们的孕妇必被剖开肚腹。”（本节在《马索拉文本》为14:1）

耶和华必使你分散在万民中，从地的这边到地的那边；在那里你要事奉你和你的列祖不认识的别的神，就是木头和石头做的神。

所以耶和华向这地大发烈怒，把这书上所写的一切咒诅都降在这地上；于是耶和华在烈怒、忿怒和大怒中，把他们从他们的地土拔出来，丢在别的地方，像今天一样。’

看哪！我要激动玛代人来攻击他们。玛代人不重视银子，也不喜爱金子。

耶和华必把你和你所立统治你的君王，领到你和你的列祖都不认识的国那里去；在那里你必事奉别的神，就是木头石头所做的神。

过了三年，他们就攻取了撒玛利亚。希西家在位第六年，就是以色列王何细亚在位第九年，撒玛利亚被攻取了。亚述王把以色列人掳到亚述去，把他们安置在哈腊、哈博河和歌散河，以及玛代人的城里；

我被指示去看一个惨酷的异象：那行诡诈的仍然行诡诈，那行破坏的仍然行破坏。以拦哪，上去吧！玛代啊，围攻吧！我要使一切叹息止住。

我必使你们被掳，流亡到大马士革以外。这是耶和华说的，万军的神就是他的名。

我要使地荒凉，连住在那里的仇敌也惊奇。我要把你们分散在万国中，我又拔出刀来追赶你们；你们的地成为荒凉，你们的城市变成荒场。

你们要在万国中灭亡；仇敌之地必吞灭你们。

“你们生子生孙，在那地住久了的时候，如果你们败坏自己，制造偶像，制造任何神像的形象，行耶和华你的神看为恶的事，惹他发怒，我今日就呼天唤地向你们作证，你们必在过约旦河取得为业的地上迅速灭亡；你们必不能在那地长久生存，必全被消灭。耶和华必使你们分散在万民中；在耶和华要领你们所到的万国中，你们剩下的人数必不多。在那里你们必事奉人手所做的神，就是用木头石头做成的，不能看、不能听、不能吃、不能闻的神。

我今日郑重地告诉你们，你们必要灭亡；在你过约旦河，进去得为业的地上，你的年日必不长久。

耶和华必击打以色列人，他们就摆动，像芦苇在水中摆动一样。他要把以色列人从他赐给他们列祖的这块美地上拔出来，把他们分散在幼发拉底河那边，因为他们做了亚舍拉，惹耶和华发怒。为了耶罗波安所犯的罪，又为了他使以色列人所犯的罪，耶和华必丢弃以色列人。”

我祖先所消灭的民族，就是歌散人、哈兰人、利色人和在提．拉撒的伊甸人，他们的神可曾解救他们吗？

我列祖所毁灭的国，有歌撒、哈兰、利色和在提．拉撒的伊甸人，这些国的神曾拯救她们吗？哈马的王、亚珥拔的王、西法瓦音城的王、希拿和以瓦的王，现在都在哪里呢？”

耶和华说：“给他起名叫罗．阿米（“罗‧阿米”意即“非我民”）；因为你们不是我的子民，我也不是你们的神。

‘毗勒斯’（“毗勒斯”即“乌法珥新”的单数式）就是你的国要分裂，归给玛代人和波斯人。”

后来，歌玛又怀孕，生了一个女儿。耶和华对何西阿说：“给她起名叫罗．路哈玛（“罗‧路哈玛”意即“不蒙怜恤”）；因为我必不再怜恤以色列家，我决不赦免他们。
