如爾背爾上帝耶和華所命之約、服事崇拜他上帝、則耶和華必震怒爾、使爾速亡、於其所賜之腴壤。

毋雕偶像、天上地下水中百物、勿作像象之、毋拜跪、無崇奉、以我耶和華、即爾之上帝、斷不容以他上帝匹我、惡我者禍之、自父及子、至三四世、

慎勿忘爾上帝耶和華所立之約、勿雕偶像、干犯厥命、蓋爾上帝耶和華如火之燎、斷不容以他上帝匹之。厥後爾久居斯土生子傳孫、自壞心術、雕刻偶像、作惡於汝上帝耶和華前、以干厥怒。我今日指天地以作證、爾於所得約但之西境、不能延命、乃必滅甚速、至於盡亡。耶和華必散爾於四方、所遺於列國者、亦已無幾、

勿與爾中之遺民往來、勿稱其上帝之名、毋指以誓、毋服事、毋崇拜。

宇內屬我、爾果聽我言、守我約、則於列國中、我必以爾為寶、亦為祭司之國、成聖之民、役事於我、爾以此言告於以色列族。

耶和華曰、時日伊邇、我與以色列族猶大家將立新約。昔我佑厥祖導出埃及、與之立約為彼所爽、我擯之弗顧、今復立約、必不若是。我必與以色列族、共立新約、我將以我律法、置其衷、銘其心、我為彼上帝、彼為我民。耶和華曰、彼毋需誨其兄弟鄰里、使識耶和華、蓋自尊逮卑、莫不知予、我將赦其罪、不錄其愆。

昔上帝與列祖立約、斯民背之、棄其所命、違其禮儀、崇事虛無、亦為放誕、四周之異邦人、耶和華曾命、勿效其尤、彼不聽從、反崇信焉、

今日爾與族中最著者、長老族長、暨以色列眾、爰及妻孥、營中之賓旅、自採樵者及汲水者、俱立於爾上帝耶和華前。

今所立之約尤善、其許人之福更大、耶穌為其中保、故受職至尊、如前之約罔缺、則後之約毋庸、惟主視其有缺、故諭眾曰、時日伊邇、我與以色列猶大民、將別立新約、此約、與我援其祖出埃及時所立之約異、彼不恆守我舊約、我檳之弗顧、當日之後、吾必與以色列民、共立新約、吾將以我律法、置其衷、銘其心、我將為彼上帝、彼將為我民、彼不需誨其昆弟鄰里、使識上帝、蓋由尊逮卑、眾必知我、余將宥其不義、不念其罪惡、既以此約為新、則以彼約為舊、凡舊而漸衰徵者、必不久自廢、

如爾中有先知、有作夢者、預言異跡奇事、所言有應、即教人曰、別有上帝、宜從而事之、然此上帝爾所未識、故勿聽其言、蓋爾上帝試爾、欲知爾一心一意、愛爾上帝耶和華否。惟爾當遵從敬畏爾上帝耶和華、守其誡、聽其命、恆久事之。昔爾上帝耶和華、導爾出埃及、脫爾於賤役、惟彼先知、與作夢者、欲使爾違爾上帝耶和華、離其所命之道、則必見殺、為爾中絕其惡。如爾同母之兄弟、或爾子女、或眷愛之妻、或契合之友、私誘爾曰、宜服事他上帝、然此上帝爾與爾祖所未識者、或四周遠近諸民之上帝、自地極至天涯、爾毋允從、毋聽順、毋姑縱、毋矜恤、毋藏匿、爾先擊之、後民擊之、必殺毋赦。彼欲惑爾、俾爾違逆、故當以石擊之、致之於死、蓋導爾出埃及、脫爾於賤役者、爾上帝耶和華是也。以色列族眾、既聞是言、震驚特甚、不復行此惡於爾中。爾上帝耶和華、錫爾眾邑、俾爾居處、浸假一邑之中有匪類、誘其居民、事素所未識之上帝、爾聞之、

摩西取血半盛於盂、半灑於壇、以盟約之詞、誦於民聽。僉曰、耶和華所諭、我必遵行。摩西以血灑民曰、此耶和華諭爾之約之血、○

屹立若柱、不能言、不能行、藉人肩負、彰癉不加、爾勿畏之。
