He followed the ways of the kings of Israel and even sacrificed his son in the fire, engaging in the detestable practices of the nations the Lord had driven out before the Israelites.

爾未從其道、行彼可惡之事、而以此為細故、於爾所行之途、較之尤惡、

循以色列諸王之道、為巴力鑄像、焚香於欣嫩子谷、以火焚其子女、從異邦可憎之事、即耶和華於以色列人前、所逐諸族之事、且於崇邱、山岡之上、綠樹之下、獻祭焚香、

亞哈謝循亞哈家之道、蓋其母主謀、使之行惡、

循以色列諸王之道、如亞哈家所為、蓋娶亞哈女為妻、行耶和華所惡、

其地且有孌童、眾行異邦可憎之事、即耶和華於以色列人前、所逐諸族之事、○

並使其子經火、用卜筮、行邪術、與憑鬼者及巫覡交、多行耶和華所惡、以激其怒、

凡使子女經火者、卜筮者、觀兆者、用法術者、行邪術者、

於其獻祭、使初胎男子經火、任其自染污衊、致見殄滅、俾知我乃耶和華、○

行耶和華所惡、從異邦可憎之事、即耶和華於以色列人前、所逐諸族之事、

乃與諸族雜處、習其行為兮、

又污衊欣嫩子谷之陀斐特、免人使其子女經火、以奉摩洛、

循尼八子耶羅波安之道、以為細事、乃娶西頓王謁巴力女耶洗別為后、從而服事崇拜巴力、在撒瑪利亞建巴力廟、為之築壇於廟中、亦作木偶、亞哈所行、激以色列上帝耶和華之怒、較以色列前王尤甚、

行耶和華所惡、循其父母之道、與尼八子耶羅波安使以色列族陷罪之道、奉事崇拜巴力、激以色列上帝耶和華之怒、皆如其父所行、

且在欣嫩子谷、為巴力建崇邱、使其子女經火、以奉摩洛、行此可憎之事、陷猶大於罪、非我所命、非我所思、○

王既籌思、乃作金犢二、告民曰、爾曹上耶路撒冷甚難、以色列人歟、導爾出埃及之神即此、遂置一犢於伯特利、一犢於但、此事陷人於罪、因民往但、崇拜其一、

告以色列族云、凡以色列族、及旅於其中者、以子女獻摩洛、殺無赦、斯土之民以石擊之、

爾奉禮物、使子經火、崇拜偶像、自染污衊、迄於今日乎、以色列家歟、我豈聽爾之諮諏乎、主耶和華曰、我指己生而誓、不聽爾之諮諏、
