我要叫兩個誠實的見證人，就是烏利亞祭司和耶比利家的兒子撒迦利亞，來為我作見證。”

於是拿伯城裡的人，就是那些與拿伯同住一城的長老和貴胄，都照著耶洗別送給他們的信上所寫的去行。他們宣告禁食，使拿伯坐在民間的首席上。然後兩個匪徒來坐在拿伯的對面。這兩個流氓當眾作見證控告拿伯，說：“拿伯曾經咒詛神和君王。”眾人就把拿伯拉出城外，用石頭打他，把他打死了。

因此，各國、各族和說各種語言的人，一聽見角、笛、琵琶、弦琴、豎琴和各種樂器的聲音，就都俯伏，向尼布甲尼撒王所立的金像下拜。

“先知和祭司都不敬虔，甚至在我殿裡我也看見他們的邪惡。”這是耶和華的宣告。

我現在是要得人的歡心，還是要得神的歡心呢？難道我想討人歡喜嗎？如果我仍然要討人歡喜，就不是基督的僕人了。

以法蓮受欺壓，被審判壓碎；因為他們樂意隨從人的命令。

跟隨烏西雅進去的，有亞撒利雅祭司，還有耶和華的祭司八十個，都是英勇的人。他們阻止烏西雅王，對他說：“烏西雅啊，給耶和華燒香不是你應作的事，而是亞倫的子孫作祭司的事，他們是分別為聖作燒香的事；請離開聖所吧，因為你作了不應該作的事了，你必不能從耶和華神那裡得著尊榮。”

祭司的嘴當保存知識，人要從他的口中尋求教訓，因為他是萬軍耶和華的使者。萬軍之耶和華說：“你們卻偏離了正路，使許多人在律法上跌倒；你們也破壞了我與利未所立的約。因此，我也使你們在眾人面前被藐視、受輕看，因為你們不遵守我的道，在律法上徇人的情面。”
