于是，各族、各邦、各语种的人一听见角、笛、弦琴、竖琴、瑟等各种乐器的声音，就都叩拜尼布甲尼撒王所立的金像。

耶和华说：“先知和祭司都不敬虔，我甚至看见他们在我的圣殿里行恶。

我现在是要赢得人的赞同吗？还是要赢得上帝的赞同？难道我是要讨好人吗？如果我仍旧要讨好人，我就不是基督的奴仆了。

以法莲因甘愿追随偶像而受欺压，被审判压碎。

祭司亚撒利雅率领八十位耶和华勇敢的祭司跟着进殿，阻止乌西雅王，说：“乌西雅啊，给耶和华烧香不是你可以做的事，乃是承受圣职做祭司的亚伦子孙的事。离开圣所吧！你已干犯耶和华上帝，必不能从祂那里得荣耀。”

祭司的嘴唇应持守知识，人民应从他口中寻求训诲，因为他是万军之耶和华的使者。然而，你们却偏离正道，你们的教导使许多人跌倒，破坏了我和利未所立的约。”这是万军之耶和华说的。“因此，我必使你们在众人面前遭藐视、轻贱。因为你们不遵守我的道，在教导上偏心待人。”
