命之曰、爾當如是而行、凡安息日入值者、三分之一宜守王宮、

曰、宜聽我言、值安息日、爾眾入此者、當以三分之一、守王子之室、

命之曰、爾所當行者如是、凡爾安息日來入班者、三分之一當守王宮、

He commanded them, saying,“ This is what you are to do: You who are in the three companies that are going on duty on the Sabbath— a third of you guarding the royal palace,

He gave them a command. He said,“ Here’s what you must do. There are five groups of you. Some of you are in the three groups that are going on duty on the Sabbath day. A third of you must guard the royal palace.

And he commanded them,“ This is the thing that you shall do: one third of you, those who come off duty on the Sabbath and guard the king’s house

Jehoiada told them,“ This is what you must do. A third of you who are on duty on the Sabbath are to guard the royal palace itself.

and commanded them,“ This is what you are to do: A third of you who come on duty on the Sabbath are to provide protection for the king’s palace.

And he commanded them, saying,“ This is the thing that you shall do: a third of you, who come in on the Sabbath and keep watch over the king’s house

Then he commanded them, saying,“ This is what you shall do: One-third of you who come on duty on the Sabbath shall be keeping watch over the king’s house,

And he commanded them, saying, This is the thing that ye shall do: a third part of you, that come in on the sabbath, shall be keepers of the watch of the king’s house;

and commanded them,“ This is what you are to do: a third of you who come on duty on the Sabbath are to provide protection for the king’s palace.

And he commanded them, saying, This[ is] the thing that ye shall do; A third part of you that enter in on the sabbath shall even be keepers of the watch of the king’s house;

He ordered them,“ This is what you must do. One third of the unit that is on duty during the Sabbath will guard the royal palace.

He commanded them, saying,“ This is what you must do: a third of you, who come in on the Sabbath, shall be keepers of the watch of the king’s house;

犹大的首领得知后，就离开王宫，上到耶和华的殿，坐在耶和华殿新门的入口。

凡三十岁以上的利未人都在统计之列，共有三万八千男子，其中有两万四千人在耶和华的殿里司职，六千人做官长和审判官，四千人守门，四千人用大卫提供的乐器颂赞耶和华。大卫将利未人革顺、哥辖和米拉利的子孙分成班次。

有一天，轮到撒迦利亚他们那一班祭司当值，他们按照祭司的规矩抽签，抽中撒迦利亚到主的殿里去烧香。

并负责看守会幕和圣所，帮助他们的亲族——亚伦的子孙在耶和华的殿里供职。

耶和华对我说：“这门必须关闭，不可打开。没有人能从这门进入，因为以色列的上帝耶和华已从这门进入，所以这门必须关闭。只有君王可以坐在里面，在耶和华面前进食。他要从门廊进入，也要从原路出去。”

在这些日子，君王要从东门穿过门廊通道进入内院，站在门框旁边。祭司要为他献燔祭和平安祭。他在入口的门槛那里敬拜，然后离去。这门要到晚上才关闭。在安息日和朔日，以色列人要站在这门口敬拜耶和华。

为了亚述王，他挪走耶和华殿里为安息日而盖的走廊，封闭了王从外面进耶和华殿的入口。

席上的美味、入座的群臣、侍立一旁的仆人及其服装、酒政以及他在耶和华殿里献的燔祭，感到万分惊奇。

在以利亚撒的子孙撒督和以他玛的子孙亚希米勒的协助下，大卫将亚伦的子孙分成班次，让他们各司其职。以利亚撒的子孙中做首领的比以他玛的子孙中做首领的多，他们被分成班次，以利亚撒的子孙中有十六个族长，以他玛的子孙中有八个族长。因为以利亚撒的子孙中和以他玛的子孙中都有人在圣所做首领事奉上帝，他们便用抽签的方法公平地分班，分别在以利亚撒和以他玛家族中抽签。利未人拿坦业的儿子示玛雅是书记。他在君王、首领、撒督祭司、亚比亚他的儿子亚希米勒、众祭司和利未人的族长面前把抽出的名字记录下来。

然后率领百夫长、迦利人、卫兵和民众，护送王从耶和华的殿下来，经过卫兵院的门进入王宫。这样，约阿施坐上了王位。
