Jehoiada brought out the king’s son and put the crown on him; he presented him with a copy of the covenant and proclaimed him king. They anointed him, and the people clapped their hands and shouted,“ Long live the king!”

撒督祭司從帳幕中取了盛膏油的角來，膏所羅門。他們就吹角，眾百姓都說：「所羅門王萬歲！」

但約蘭王的女兒，亞哈謝的妹妹約示巴，將亞哈謝的兒子約阿施從被殺的王子中偷出來，把他和他的奶媽藏在臥房裏，躲避了亞她利雅，沒有被殺。

撒母耳拿一瓶膏油倒在掃羅的頭上，親吻他，說：「耶和華豈不是膏你作他產業的君王嗎？

你們必歡歡喜喜出來，平平安安蒙引導。大山小山必在你們面前歡呼，田野的樹木也都拍掌。

他登了國度的王位之後，要在利未家的祭司面前，將這律法書為自己抄寫一份在書卷上。這書要存在他那裏，他一生的年日要誦讀，好使他學習敬畏耶和華－他的神，謹守遵行這律法書上的一切話和這些律例，免得他的心向弟兄高傲，偏離了這誡命，或向右或向左。這樣，他和他的子孫就可以長久作王治理以色列。」

萬民哪，你們都要鼓掌！用歡呼的聲音向神呼喊！

願大水拍掌，願諸山在耶和華面前一同歡呼；

大衛的朋友亞基人戶篩來到押沙龍那裏，對他說：「願王萬歲！願王萬歲！」

撒母耳就用角裏的膏油，在他的兄長中膏了他。從這日起，耶和華的靈就大大感動大衛。撒母耳起身回拉瑪去了。

把瓶裏的膏油倒在他頭上，說：『耶和華如此說：我膏你作以色列王。』然後你就開門逃跑，不要等候。」

我要使他的仇敵披上羞恥；但他的冠冕要在他頭上發光。」

你喜愛公義，恨惡罪惡；所以神，就是你的神，用喜樂油膏你，勝過膏你的同伴。」

王愛以斯帖過於眾女子，她在王面前蒙寵愛勝過眾少女。王把王后的冠冕戴在她頭上，立她為王后，代替瓦實提。

願他永遠活着，示巴的金子要獻給他；願人常常為他禱告，終日祝福他。在地的山頂上，願五穀茂盛，所結的穀實響動，如黎巴嫩的樹林；願城裏的人興旺，如地上的草。願他的名存到永遠，他的名如太陽之長久；願人因他蒙福，萬國稱他為有福。

前呼後擁的人羣喊着說：「和散那歸於大衛之子！奉主名來的是應當稱頌的！至高無上的，和散那！」

那在基督裏堅固我們和你們，並且膏抹我們的，就是神。

在那裏，撒督祭司和拿單先知要膏他作以色列的王；你們也要吹角，說：『所羅門王萬歲！』

他們對尼布甲尼撒王說：「願王萬歲！

現在，你們的主掃羅死了，猶大家也已經膏我作他們的王，你們的手要堅強，要作英勇的人。」

他也奪了米勒公頭上所戴的冠冕，其上的金子重一他連得，又嵌着寶石。這冠冕就戴在大衛頭上。大衛又從城裏奪了許多財物，

用荊棘編了冠冕，戴在他頭上，拿一根蘆葦稈放在他右手裏，跪在他面前，戲弄他，說：「萬歲，猶太人的王！」

希律和本丟‧彼拉多，同外邦人和以色列民，果然在這城裏聚集，要攻打你所膏的聖僕耶穌，

惟獨見那成為暫時比天使微小的耶穌，因為受了死的痛苦，得了尊貴榮耀為冠冕，好使他因着神的恩，為人人經歷了死亡。

但以理對王說：「願王萬歲！

他們領約阿施出來，給他戴上冠冕，把律法書交給他，立他作王。耶何耶大和他的兒子們膏他，他們說：「願王萬歲！」

你要捲起律法書，在我門徒中間封住教誨。

於是以色列的眾長老都來到希伯崙見王。大衛在希伯崙，在耶和華面前與他們立約，他們就膏大衛作以色列的王。

他的眼睛如火焰，頭上戴着許多冠冕；他身上寫着一個名字，除了他自己沒有人知道。

當以教誨和律法書為準；人所說的若不與此相符，必沒有黎明。

他在雅各中立法度，在以色列中設律法；他吩咐我們的祖宗要傳給子孫，

當把王所穿的王袍拿來，牽了戴冠的御馬，

你以美善的福氣迎接他，把純金的冠冕戴在他頭上。

耶和華的受膏者是我們鼻中的氣，被抓到他們的坑裏，論到他，我們曾說：「我們必在他蔭下，在列國中存活。」

你厭惡與你僕人所立的約，將他的冠冕踐踏於地。

猶大人來，在那裏膏大衛作猶大家的王。有人告訴大衛說：「埋葬掃羅的是基列的雅比人。」

第七年，耶何耶大派人叫迦利人和護衛兵的眾百夫長來，領他們進耶和華的殿，與他們立約，使他們在耶和華殿裏起誓，又把王的兒子指給他們看，
