He said,“ Come with me, and see my zeal for Yahweh.” So they made him ride in his chariot.

耶戶說：「你和我同去，看我為耶和華怎樣熱心」；於是請他坐在車上，

耶戶說：『你跟我一同去，看我為永恆主怎樣發妒愛熱情。』就請他同他坐車。

曰、與我偕往、視我為耶和華之熱中、乃使之乘車、

曰、爾與我偕、見我為耶和華熱中。於是二人同車。

Jehu said,“ Come with me and see my zeal for the Lord.” Then he had him ride along in his chariot.

Jehu said,“ Come along with me. See how committed I am to serve the Lord.” Jehu had Jehonadab ride along in his chariot.

And he said,“ Come with me, and see my zeal for the Lord.” So he had him ride in his chariot.

Then Jehu said,“ Now come with me, and see how devoted I am to the Lord.” So Jehonadab rode along with him.

Then he said,“ Come with me and see my zeal for the LORD!” So he let him ride with him in his chariot.

Then he said,“ Come with me and see my zeal for the Lord.” So he had him ride in his chariot.

Then he said,“ Come with me, and see my zeal for the Lord.” So they had him ride in his chariot.

And he said, Come with me, and see my zeal for Jehovah. So they made him ride in his chariot.

Then he said,“ Come with me and see my zeal for the Lord!” So he let him ride with him in his chariot.

And he said, Come with me, and see my zeal for the LORD. So they made him ride in his chariot.

Jehu said,“ Come with me and see how zealous I am for the LORD’s cause.” So he took him along in his chariot.

He said,“ I have been very jealous for Yahweh, the God of Armies; for the children of Israel have forsaken your covenant, thrown down your altars, and killed your prophets with the sword. I, even I only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it away.”

But Jehu took no heed to walk in the law of Yahweh, the God of Israel, with all his heart. He didn’t depart from the sins of Jeroboam, with which he made Israel to sin.

‘ If Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I can’t go beyond Yahweh’s word, to do either good or bad from my own mind. I will say what Yahweh says’?Now, behold, I go to my people. Come, I will inform you what this people shall do to your people in the latter days.”He took up his parable, and said,“ Balaam the son of Beor says, the man whose eyes are open says;he says, who hears the words of God, knows the knowledge of the Most High, and who sees the vision of the Almighty, Falling down, and having his eyes open:

He said,“ I have been very jealous for Yahweh, the God of Armies; for the children of Israel have forsaken your covenant, thrown down your altars, and killed your prophets with the sword. I, even I only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it away.”

Let another man praise you, and not your own mouth; a stranger, and not your own lips.

You must strike your master Ahab’s house, that I may avenge the blood of my servants the prophets, and the blood of all the servants of Yahweh, at the hand of Jezebel.For the whole house of Ahab will perish. I will cut off from Ahab everyone who urinates against a wall, both him who is shut up and him who is left at large in Israel.I will make Ahab’s house like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and like the house of Baasha the son of Ahijah.

For I testify about them that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge.

Therefore when you do merciful deeds, don’t sound a trumpet before yourself, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may get glory from men. Most certainly I tell you, they have received their reward.

He who escapes from the sword of Hazael, Jehu will kill; and he who escapes from the sword of Jehu, Elisha will kill.

“ When you pray, you shall not be as the hypocrites, for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Most certainly, I tell you, they have received their reward.

They come to you as the people come, and they sit before you as my people, and they hear your words, but don’t do them; for with their mouth they show much love, but their heart goes after their gain.

God met Balaam, and he said to him,“ I have prepared the seven altars, and I have offered up a bull and a ram on every altar.”
