曰、與我偕往、視我為耶和華之熱中、乃使之乘車、

Jehu said,“ Come with me and see my zeal for the Lord.” Then he had him ride along in his chariot.

Jehu said,“ Come along with me. See how committed I am to serve the Lord.” Jehu had Jehonadab ride along in his chariot.

And he said,“ Come with me, and see my zeal for the Lord.” So he had him ride in his chariot.

Then Jehu said,“ Now come with me, and see how devoted I am to the Lord.” So Jehonadab rode along with him.

Then he said,“ Come with me and see my zeal for the LORD!” So he let him ride with him in his chariot.

Then he said,“ Come with me and see my zeal for the Lord.” So he had him ride in his chariot.

Then he said,“ Come with me, and see my zeal for the Lord.” So they had him ride in his chariot.

And he said, Come with me, and see my zeal for Jehovah. So they made him ride in his chariot.

Then he said,“ Come with me and see my zeal for the Lord!” So he let him ride with him in his chariot.

And he said, Come with me, and see my zeal for the LORD. So they made him ride in his chariot.

Jehu said,“ Come with me and see how zealous I am for the LORD’s cause.” So he took him along in his chariot.

He said,“ Come with me, and see my zeal for Yahweh.” So they made him ride in his chariot.

He replied,“ I have been very zealous for the Lord God Almighty. The Israelites have rejected your covenant, torn down your altars, and put your prophets to death with the sword. I am the only one left, and now they are trying to kill me too.” (niv)

Yet Jehu was not careful to keep the law of the Lord, the God of Israel, with all his heart. He did not turn away from the sins of Jeroboam, which he had caused Israel to commit. (niv)

‘ Even if Balak gave me all the silver and gold in his palace, I could not do anything of my own accord, good or bad, to go beyond the command of the Lord— and I must say only what the Lord says’?Now I am going back to my people, but come, let me warn you of what this people will do to your people in days to come.”Then he spoke his message:“ The prophecy of Balaam son of Beor, the prophecy of one whose eye sees clearly,the prophecy of one who hears the words of God, who has knowledge from the Most High, who sees a vision from the Almighty, who falls prostrate, and whose eyes are opened: (niv)

He replied,“ I have been very zealous for the Lord God Almighty. The Israelites have rejected your covenant, torn down your altars, and put your prophets to death with the sword. I am the only one left, and now they are trying to kill me too.” (niv)

Let someone else praise you, and not your own mouth; an outsider, and not your own lips. (niv)

You are to destroy the house of Ahab your master, and I will avenge the blood of my servants the prophets and the blood of all the Lord’s servants shed by Jezebel.The whole house of Ahab will perish. I will cut off from Ahab every last male in Israel— slave or free.I will make the house of Ahab like the house of Jeroboam son of Nebat and like the house of Baasha son of Ahijah. (niv)

For I can testify about them that they are zealous for God, but their zeal is not based on knowledge. (niv)

“ So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. (niv)

Jehu will put to death any who escape the sword of Hazael, and Elisha will put to death any who escape the sword of Jehu. (niv)

“ And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. (niv)

My people come to you, as they usually do, and sit before you to hear your words, but they do not put them into practice. Their mouths speak of love, but their hearts are greedy for unjust gain. (niv)

God met with him, and Balaam said,“ I have prepared seven altars, and on each altar I have offered a bull and a ram.” (niv)
