Then he sent to Elijah a captain with his company of fifty men. The captain went up to Elijah, who was sitting on the top of a hill, and said to him,“ Man of God, the king says,‘ Come down!’”

Then Ahaziah sent a captain to Elijah. The captain had his group of 50 fighting men with him. Elijah was sitting on top of a hill. The captain went up to him. He said to Elijah,“ Man of God, the king says,‘ Come down!’ ”

Then the king sent to him a captain of fifty men with his fifty. He went up to Elijah, who was sitting on the top of a hill, and said to him,“ O man of God, the king says,‘ Come down.’”

Then he sent an army captain with fifty soldiers to arrest him. They found him sitting on top of a hill. The captain said to him,“ Man of God, the king has commanded you to come down with us.”

So King Ahaziah sent a captain with his fifty men to Elijah. When the captain went up to him, he was sitting on top of the hill. He announced,“ Man of God, the king declares,‘ Come down!’”

The king sent a captain and his fifty soldiers to retrieve Elijah. The captain went up to him, while he was sitting on the top of a hill. He told him,“ Prophet, the king says,‘ Come down!’”

Then the king sent a captain of fifty with his fifty to him. He went up to him; and behold, he was sitting on the top of the hill. He said to him,“ Man of God, the king has said,‘ Come down!’”

王說：「去找出他在哪裡，我派人去捉拿他。」王得知以利沙在多坍後，便派出大隊人馬和戰車前往那裡，他們在夜間抵達多坍，把城圍住。

亞瑪謝對我說：「先見啊，走吧！逃回猶大去吧！你要在那裡掙吃的，在那裡說預言。

過路的人都嘲笑祂，搖著頭說：「哈，你這要把聖殿拆毀又在三天內重建的人啊，

以色列王回答說：「這裡還有一個人，是音拉的兒子米該雅，我們可以託他求問耶和華。可是我厭惡他，因為他給我的預言都是有凶無吉。」約沙法說：「王不要這樣說。」

有些人遭受戲弄和鞭打，還有些人遭受捆鎖和囚禁。

以色列的王基督，現在從十字架上下來吧！讓我們看看，我們就信了！」與祂同釘十字架的強盜也對祂出言不遜。

「基督啊！給我們說預言吧，是誰在打你？」

以色列王下令說：「把米該雅交給亞們總督和約阿施王子，告訴他們，『王說，要把這人關在監牢，只給他一些餅和水，直到我平安地回來。』」

但法利賽人和律法教師卻怒火中燒，開始商議對付耶穌的辦法。一天，耶穌到山上整夜向上帝禱告。

祭司長、律法教師和長老也嘲諷說：「祂救了別人，卻救不了自己！祂要是以色列的王，就從十字架上跳下來吧！我們就信祂。祂說信靠上帝，如果上帝喜悅祂，就讓上帝來救祂吧！因為祂自稱是上帝的兒子。」

耶洗別就派人去告訴以利亞，說：「明天這個時候，我若不使你像那些人一樣喪命，願神明重重地懲罰我。」

用荊棘編成冠冕，戴在祂頭上，又拿一根葦稈放在祂右手裡，跪在祂跟前戲弄祂，說：「猶太人的王萬歲！」

原來希律為他兄弟腓力的妻子希羅底的緣故，拘捕了約翰，把他捆綁起來關在監裡。

亞哈就去吃喝。以利亞上到迦密山頂，跪在地上，臉伏在雙膝之間。

我憑你的上帝——永活的耶和華起誓，王派人到各邦各國尋找你，任何邦國若說你不在那裡，王就要他們起誓說真的找不到你。
