王第二次差遣一个五十夫长，带领五十人去见以利亚。五十夫长对以利亚说：“神人哪，王吩咐你快快下来！”

王又派另一个五十夫长，带领五十人到以利亚那里。五十夫长对他说：“神人哪，王这样吩咐，快快下来！”

At this the king sent to Elijah another captain with his fifty men. The captain said to him,“ Man of God, this is what the king says,‘ Come down at once!’”

After that happened, the king sent another captain to Elijah. The captain had his 50 men with him. He said to Elijah,“ Man of God, the king says,‘ Come down at once!’ ”

Again the king sent to him another captain of fifty men with his fifty. And he answered and said to him,“ O man of God, this is the king’s order,‘ Come down quickly!’”

So the king sent another captain with fifty men. The captain said to him,“ Man of God, the king demands that you come down at once.”

So the king sent another captain with his fifty men to Elijah. He took in the situation and announced,“ Man of God, this is what the king says:‘ Come down immediately!’”

So the king again sent to him another captain of fifty with his fifty men. And he said to him,“ You man of God, this is what the king says:‘ Come down quickly!’ ”

Then he sent to him another captain of fifty with his fifty men. And he answered and said to him:“ Man of God, thus has the king said,‘ Come down quickly!’”

And again he sent unto him another captain of fifty with his fifty. And he answered and said unto him, O man of God, thus hath the king said, Come down quickly.

So the king sent another captain of 50 with his 50 men to Elijah. He took in the situation and announced,“ Man of God, this is what the king says:‘ Come down immediately!’”

Again also he sent unto him another captain of fifty with his fifty. And he answered and said unto him, O man of God, thus hath the king said, Come down quickly.

The king sent another captain and his fifty soldiers to retrieve Elijah. He went up and told him,“ Prophet, this is what the king says,‘ Come down at once!’”

Again he sent to him another captain of fifty with his fifty. He answered him,“ Man of God, the king has said,‘ Come down quickly!’”

你们要留意观察，如果车朝以色列边境的伯·示麦去，这大灾难就是耶和华降给我们的。如果不朝那方向走，我们就知道不是祂惩罚我们，是偶然发生的。”

耶和华啊，你要的不是诚实吗？你责打他们，他们不感到疼痛；你严惩他们，他们仍不受教。他们屡教不改，脸比石头还硬。

恶棍们手段邪恶，用阴谋诡计和谎言毁灭困苦的人，即使穷人的诉求有理也是枉然。

他就命令身旁的护卫，说：“把这些耶和华的祭司杀掉，因为他们跟大卫同谋，明知道大卫在潜逃，却不来告诉我。”扫罗的臣仆不愿意下手杀害耶和华的祭司。扫罗就对多益说：“你去把祭司杀掉！”以东人多益就杀了他们。那天，他下手杀了八十五个穿细麻布以弗得的祭司。他又把祭司城挪伯的男女老少、牛羊和驴全部杀掉。

他们回答说：“拿撒勒人耶稣！”耶稣说：“我就是。”那时出卖耶稣的犹大也站在他们当中。他们听到耶稣说“我就是”，便后退跌倒在地上。耶稣又问：“你们找谁？”他们说：“拿撒勒人耶稣。”耶稣说：“我已经告诉你们我就是。你们既然找我，就让这些人走吧。”这是要应验祂以前说的：“你赐给我的人一个也没有失掉。”这时，西门·彼得带着一把刀，他拔刀向大祭司的奴仆马勒古砍去，削掉了他的右耳。耶稣对彼得说：“收刀入鞘吧！我父赐给我的杯，我怎能不喝呢？”千夫长带着士兵和犹太人的差役上前把耶稣捆绑起来，带了回去。

第二天，以色列全体会众都埋怨摩西和亚伦说：“你们害死了耶和华的子民。”

“我们该怎样处置这两个人呢？整个耶路撒冷的居民都知道他们行了一个神迹，我们无法否认。为了避免这件事传得更广，我们必须警告他们以后不许再对任何人传讲耶稣的事。”

你惩罚的手高高举起，他们却看不见。愿他们因看见你向你子民所发的热心而感到羞愧。愿你为敌人预备的火烧灭他们。

看守耶稣的人嘲弄祂，殴打祂，蒙住祂的眼睛，对祂说：“说预言吧！是谁在打你？”

希律见自己被智者愚弄，大为恼怒，便照着智者所说的时间推算，下令把伯利恒附近两岁以下的男孩杀光。

君王若听谗言，臣仆必成奸徒。
