For if what was made ineffective came with glory, how much more has what remains come in glory!

若那废掉的有荣光，这长存的就更有荣光了。

若是那逐渐褪色的有荣光，这长存的就更有荣光了。

若是那逐渐褪色的有荣光，这长存的就更有荣光了。

那渐渐消逝的尚且有荣耀，这永远长存的更是荣耀无比。

如果那短暂的有荣光，那长存的就更有荣光了。

这样，那渐渐消失的尚且带有荣光，何况这长存的，难道不更带有荣光吗？

若那廢掉的有榮光，這長存的就更有榮光了。

若是那逐漸褪色的有榮光，這長存的就更有榮光了。

若是那逐漸褪色的有榮光，這長存的就更有榮光了。

那漸漸消逝的尚且有榮耀，這永遠長存的更是榮耀無比。

如果那短暫的有榮光，那長存的就更有榮光了。

那漸漸消逝的制度若是通過榮光而立，這長存的就越發帶着榮光了。

這樣，那漸漸消失的尚且帶有榮光，何況這長存的，難道不更帶有榮光嗎？

蓋暫存者若榮、則永存者更榮矣、○

暫有者若榮、則永存者更榮、

若將廢者有榮、則永存者更有榮、○

夫終須廢棄之臨時制度、且產生於光榮之中、則其永久者之光榮、又為何如！

And if what was transitory came with glory, how much greater is the glory of that which lasts!

The glory of the old lasts for only a short time. How much greater is the glory of the new! It will last forever.

For if what was being brought to an end came with glory, much more will what is permanent have glory.

So if the old way, which has been replaced, was glorious, how much more glorious is the new, which remains forever!

For if what was set aside was glorious, what endures will be even more glorious.

For if that which fades away was with glory, much more that which remains is in glory.

For if what is passing away was glorious, what remains is much more glorious.

For if that which passeth away was with glory, much more that which remaineth is in glory.

For if what was fading away was glorious, what endures will be even more glorious.

For if that which is done away[ was] glorious, much more that which remaineth[ is] glorious.

For if that which passes away was with glory, much more that which remains is in glory.

Now the law came in so that the transgression may increase, but where sin increased, grace multiplied all the more,so that just as sin reigned in death, so also grace will reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

When he speaks of a new covenant, he makes the first obsolete. Now what is growing obsolete and aging is about to disappear.

but Jesus did so with a sworn affirmation by the one who said to him,“ The Lord has sworn and will not change his mind,‘ You are a priest forever’”–accordingly Jesus has become the guarantee of a better covenant.And the others who became priests were numerous, because death prevented them from continuing in office,but he holds his priesthood permanently since he lives forever.So he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.

Therefore, since we have this ministry, just as God has shown us mercy, we do not become discouraged.

who made us adequate to be servants of a new covenant not based on the letter but on the Spirit, for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.But if the ministry that produced death– carved in letters on stone tablets– came with glory, so that the Israelites could not keep their eyes fixed on the face of Moses because of the glory of his face( a glory which was made ineffective),

Take care not to refuse the one who is speaking! For if they did not escape when they refused the one who warned them on earth, how much less shall we, if we reject the one who warns from heaven?Then his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised,“ I will once more shake not only the earth but heaven too.”Now this phrase“ once more” indicates the removal of what is shaken, that is, of created things, so that what is unshaken may remain.So since we are receiving an unshakable kingdom, let us give thanks, and through this let us offer worship pleasing to God in devotion and awe.For our God is indeed a devouring fire.
