因为我们在神面前，无论在得救的人身上或灭亡的人身上，都有基督馨香之气。

蓋於上帝前我在得救者及沉淪者中、為基督之馨香、

上帝使我為基督之香、俾得救及沉淪臭之、

蓋我儕於天主前、為基督之馨香、於得救者、亦於沈淪者、

蓋吾人乃基督所獻於天主之馨香也；蒙救者聞焉、沉淪者亦聞焉；

For we are to God the pleasing aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing.

God considers us to be the pleasing smell that Christ is spreading. He is spreading it among people who are being saved and people who are dying.

For we are the aroma of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing,

Our lives are a Christ like fragrance rising up to God. But this fragrance is perceived differently by those who are being saved and by those who are perishing.

For to God we are the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing.

For we are a fragrance of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing:

For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing.

For we are a sweet savor of Christ unto God, in them that are saved, and in them that perish;

因為十字架之道在將要滅亡的人看來是愚昧的，但對我們這些得救的人來說卻是上帝的大能，

要以愛心待人，像基督愛我們一樣，祂為我們犧牲自己作為獻給上帝的馨香供物和祭物。

當我把你們從列國領出來，從你們散居的列邦聚集起來時，你們必如馨香之祭一樣蒙我悅納，我必當著列國的面在你們中間彰顯我的聖潔。

我現在樣樣都有，豐富有餘。我從以巴弗提手上收到了你們送給我的禮物，已經充足了。這些饋贈是蒙上帝悅納的馨香祭物。

然而，即使我們所傳的福音被遮蔽，也是在那些滅亡的人當中被遮蔽。那些不信的人是被這世界的神弄瞎了心眼，以致看不見基督榮耀的福音之光。基督是上帝的本像。

用盡各樣詭計欺騙那些將要滅亡的人，因為他們不喜歡接受那能拯救他們的真理。

然後，你要把這些祭物接過來，放在祭壇上焚燒獻給耶和華，成為蒙耶和華悅納的馨香火祭。

我在母腹之中，耶和華便塑造我做祂的僕人，叫我領雅各歸向祂，把以色列人召集到祂那裡。我在耶和華眼中是尊貴的，我的上帝是我的力量。祂對我說：「我不僅要你做我的僕人，去復興雅各的眾支派，使以色列的餘民重歸故土，我還要使你成為外族人的光，好把我的救恩帶到地極。」

耶和華聞到這燔祭的馨香，心想：「雖然人從小就心存惡念，但我再不會因為人的緣故而咒詛大地，再不會毀滅一切生靈。

然後，把整隻羊放在祭壇上焚燒，這是獻給耶和華的燔祭，是蒙耶和華悅納的馨香火祭。
