连你们的律法上也记载着：两个人的见证才是有效的。我为自己做见证，派我来的父也为我做见证。”

任何拒绝摩西律法的人，凭两个或三个见证人的见证，就得不到怜悯而死，何况一个人践踏了神的儿子，把那使自己成圣的立约之血看做是俗物，又侮辱了恩典的圣灵，你们想想，这个人难道不该受更厉害的惩罚吗？

虽然有许多假见证人上前来，可是他们找不出什么。后来有两个人上前来，说：“这个人说过：‘我能拆毁神的圣所，三天内又建起来。’”
