But be that as it may, I have not burdened you. Yet because I was a crafty person, I took you in by deceit!

算了！我没有拖累过你们，但居然有人说我狡猾，用诡计骗你们。

算了！我没有成为你们的重担，却是个狡猾的人，用诡计牢笼你们。

不过就算如此，我也没有成为你们的负担——难道我是狡猾的人，用诡计牢笼了你们吗？

不過就算如此，我也沒有成為你們的負擔——難道我是狡猾的人，用詭計牢籠了你們嗎？

或云我雖不累爾、而以詭計取爾、

有謗我者、言雖不累爾、而以詭計取爾、

或有人云、我雖不累爾、乃為狡詐之人、以計取爾、

或曰：正惟彼不累爾、彼蓋矯情以取信、將間接貽爾以大累耳。

Be that as it may, I have not been a burden to you. Yet, crafty fellow that I am, I caught you by trickery!

In any case, I haven’t caused you any expense. But I’m so tricky! I have caught you by tricking you! Or so you think!

But granting that I myself did not burden you, I was crafty, you say, and got the better of you by deceit.

Some of you admit I was not a burden to you. But others still think I was sneaky and took advantage of you by trickery.

Now granted, I did not burden you; yet sly as I am, I took you in by deceit!

But be that as it may, I did not burden you myself; nevertheless, devious person that I am, I took you in by deceit.

But be that as it may, I did not burden you. Nevertheless, being crafty, I caught you by cunning!

But be it so, I did not myself burden you; but, being crafty, I caught you with guile.

Now granted, I have not burdened you; yet sly as I am, I took you in by deceit!

But be it so, I did not burden you: nevertheless, being crafty, I caught you with guile.

Even so, I myself didn’t burden you.“ But, being crafty, I caught you with deception.”

For our reason for confidence is this: the testimony of our conscience, that with pure motives and sincerity which are from God– not by human wisdom but by the grace of God– we conducted ourselves in the world, and all the more toward you.

When I was with you and was in need, I was not a burden to anyone, for the brothers who came from Macedonia fully supplied my needs. I kept myself from being a burden to you in any way, and will continue to do so.As the truth of Christ is in me, this boasting of mine will not be stopped in the regions of Achaia.

For how were you treated worse than the other churches, except that I myself was not a burden to you? Forgive me this injustice!

now I ask that when I am present I may not have to be bold with the confidence that( I expect) I will dare to use against some who consider us to be behaving according to human standards.For though we live as human beings, we do not wage war according to human standards,

For we never appeared with flattering speech, as you know, nor with a pretext for greed– God is our witness–

For the appeal we make does not come from error or impurity or with deceit,

But we have rejected shameful hidden deeds, not behaving with deceptiveness or distorting the word of God, but by open proclamation of the truth we commend ourselves to everyone’s conscience before God.

Make room for us in your hearts; we have wronged no one, we have ruined no one, we have exploited no one.
