因為使徒的記號、真地在你們中間、以萬分的堅忍、藉着神迹奇事和異能、都顯出來了。

倘若有人來，宣傳另一個耶穌、是我們所沒宣傳過的，或是你們領受了另一個不同的靈、是你們所沒領受過的，或是另一個不同的福音、是你們所沒接受過的，你們容忍他，好啊！

我感謝上帝，我捲舌頭說話、或者比你們眾人強；

在話語上我縱然外行，在知識上我卻不外行；不，無論何事、無論怎樣、我總向你們顯明出來了。

耶穌就對他說：『若不看見神迹奇事，你們總是不信的。』

我們乃是在各樣事上證明自己作為上帝的僕役：用大堅忍、在苦難艱難困迫中、在鞭打監禁擾亂中、在勞苦失眠絕糧中、用清潔知識恆忍慈惠、用聖靈的恩賜、用無偽的愛、「真實」之道、上帝之大能力；藉着右手左手中義的武器、歷經光榮與羞辱、惡名與美名；似乎是迷惑人者，卻是真誠的；似乎是人所不知，卻是人所共知的；似乎正在死，你看，我們卻活着呢；似乎受懲罰管教，卻沒有被處死；似乎憂愁，卻永遠喜樂；似乎貧窮，卻叫許多人富足；似乎一無所有，卻是擁有萬物！

我不是自由的麼？我不是使徒麼？我沒有見過我們的主耶穌麼？你們不是我在主裏的製造物麼？假若對別人我不是使徒，對你們我總是的；因為你們在主裏、正是我有使徒職分的印記。

因為你們在他裏面、對於一切口才、一切知識、各方面都得富足——我們為基督而作的見證、就是這樣在你們中間得證實的——所以你們在恩賜上沒有一樣缺乏，只切候着我們主耶穌基督之顯示。
