所以，你们要把下垂的手举起来，发酸的腿挺直；

我要求父，父就赐给你们另外一位保惠师，使他永远与你们同在。

你是我藏身之处，你必保佑我脱离苦难，以得救的欢呼四面环绕我。（细拉）

我的心必因耶和华夸耀，谦卑的人听见就喜乐。你们要和我一同尊耶和华为大，让我们一同高举他的名。我曾寻求耶和华，他就应允我，救我脱离一切的恐惧。仰望他的人，就有光荣；他们的脸必不蒙羞。这困苦人呼求，耶和华就垂听，救他脱离一切的患难。

在那日，你要说：“耶和华啊，我要称谢你！因为你虽然向我发怒，你的怒气却已转消；你又安慰了我。

敬畏上帝的人哪，你们都来听！我要述说他为我所做的事。

耶和华如此说：“看哪，我要使平安临到她，好像江河；使列国的荣耀及于她，如同涨溢的溪流。你们要尽情吸吮；你们必被抱在身旁，摇弄在膝上。我要安慰你们，如同母亲安慰儿女；你们也必在耶路撒冷得安慰。你们看见，心里就喜乐，你们的骨头必如草生长；耶和华的手在他仆人身上彰显，他却要向他的仇敌发怒。”

但保惠师，就是父因我的名所要差来的圣灵，他要把一切的事教导你们，并且要使你们想起我对你们所说的一切话。

我向你陈明我的罪，不隐瞒我的恶。我说：“我要向耶和华承认我的过犯”；你就赦免我的罪恶。（细拉）

我不会撇下你们为孤儿，我必到你们这里来。

耶路撒冷的废墟啊，要出声一同欢唱；因为耶和华安慰了他的百姓，救赎了耶路撒冷。

正如我们跟基督同受许多苦楚，我们也靠基督得许多安慰。如果我们受患难，那是为使你们得安慰，得拯救；如果我们得安慰，那也是为使你们得安慰，这安慰能使你们忍受我们所受同样的苦楚。

因此，我们得了安慰。在我们所得的安慰之外，又因你们众人使提多心里畅快喜乐，我们就更加欢喜了。

所以，你们当用这些话彼此劝勉。

耶和华已经安慰锡安，安慰了锡安一切的废墟，使旷野如伊甸，使沙漠像耶和华的园子；其中必有欢喜、快乐、感谢，和歌唱的声音。

而且那在主里的弟兄，多半都因我受的捆锁而笃信不疑，越发放胆无所惧怕地传道。

他们不饥不渴，炎热和烈日必不伤害他们；因为怜悯他们的必引导他们，领他们到水泉旁边。

求你向我显出恩待我的凭据，使恨我的人看见就羞愧，因为你—耶和华帮助我，安慰了我。
