愿主耶稣基督和爱我们、开恩将永远的安慰和美好的盼望赐给我们的父上帝，安慰你们的心，使你们在一切善行善言上刚强。

所以，你们要彼此鼓励、互相造就，正如你们一向所做的。

你们的上帝说：“你们要安慰我的子民。

所以，你们要举起下垂的手，挺直发酸的腿，

我要求父另外赐一位护慰者给你们，祂要永远和你们同在。

你是我的藏身之所，你保护我免遭危难，用得胜的凯歌四面环绕我。（细拉）

我要夸耀祂的作为，困苦人听见必欢欣。让我们一同颂赞祂的伟大，尊崇祂的名！我向祂祷告，祂便应允我，救我脱离一切恐惧。凡仰望祂的必有荣光，不致蒙羞。我这可怜的人向祂呼求，祂就垂听，救我脱离一切困境。

到那日，你们必歌唱：“耶和华啊，我要赞美你！你虽然曾向我发怒，但你的怒气已经止息，你还安慰了我。

敬畏上帝的人啊，你们都来听吧，我要告诉你们祂为我所做的事。

耶和华说：“看啊，我赐给她的平安如川流不息的江河，使万国的滚滚财富都归给她。你们必被她抱在怀中，摇在膝上。母亲怎样抚慰孩子，我也怎样抚慰你们，使你们在耶路撒冷得到安慰。”你们见到这些事，必满心欢喜，身体如青草一样充满活力。耶和华必向祂的仆人彰显大能，向祂的仇敌发怒。

但护慰者，就是父为我的名而差来的圣灵，将教导你们一切的事，并使你们想起我对你们说的一切话。

我向你承认自己的罪，不再隐瞒自己的恶。我说：“我要向耶和华认罪。”你就赦免了我。（细拉）

我不会撇下你们为孤儿，我必到你们这里来。

耶路撒冷的荒场啊，你们要一同欢呼歌唱，因为耶和华安慰了祂的子民，救赎了耶路撒冷。

正如我们多受基督所受的苦楚，也靠基督多得安慰。我们遭受患难，是为了使你们得到安慰和拯救；我们得到安慰，也是为了使你们得到安慰，以便你们能忍受像我们所遭遇的诸般苦难。

我们也因此得到了激励。令我们更欢喜的是提多也很喜乐，因为他的心从你们那里得到了安慰。

所以你们要用这些话彼此鼓励。

我必安慰锡安和锡安所有的荒场，使旷野像伊甸园，使沙漠变成我的园囿，里面有欢喜、快乐、感谢和歌颂的声音。

大多数主内的弟兄姊妹看见我为主被囚，信心受到鼓舞，更加放胆无惧地传扬上帝的道。

他们不再饥渴，也不再被热风和烈日灼伤，因为怜悯他们的那位必引导他们，领他们到泉水边。

求你赐下恩待我的凭据，使那些恨我的人见状就抱愧蒙羞，因为你耶和华帮助我、安慰我。
