Because I was confident of this, I wanted to visit you first so that you might benefit twice.

Convinced of this, I know that I will remain and continue with you all, for your progress and joy in the faith,so that in me you may have ample cause to glory in Christ Jesus, because of my coming to you again.

Working together with him, then, we appeal to you not to receive the grace of God in vain.

if anyone is hungry, let him eat at home— so that when you come together it will not be for judgment. About the other things I will give directions when I come.
