於是彼得被囚在監裏，教會卻為他切切禱告神。

弟兄們，我藉着我們的主耶穌基督，又藉着聖靈的愛，勸你們與我一同竭力為我祈求神，使我脫離在猶太不順從的人，也讓我在耶路撒冷的事奉可蒙聖徒悅納，並使我照着神的旨意歡歡喜喜地到你們那裏，與你們同得安息。

弟兄們，請也為我們禱告。

所以，你們要彼此認罪，互相代求，使你們得醫治。義人祈禱所發的力量是大有功效的。以利亞與我們是同樣性情的人，他懇切地祈求不要下雨，地上就三年六個月沒有下雨。他又禱告，天就降下雨來，地就有了出產。

要靠着聖靈，隨時多方禱告祈求，並要為此警醒不倦，為眾聖徒祈求。也要為我祈求，讓我有口才，能放膽開口講明福音的奧祕，

你們必凡事富足，能多多施捨，使人藉着我們而生感謝神的心。因為辦這供給的事，不但補聖徒的缺乏，而且使許多人對神充滿更多的感謝。

或許耶和華－你的神聽見亞述將軍的話，就是他主人亞述王差他來辱罵永生神的話，耶和華－你的神就斥責所聽見的這些話。求你為倖存的餘民揚聲禱告。』」

他們也因神極大的恩賜顯在你們身上而切切想念你們，為你們祈禱。

耶路撒冷啊，我在你城牆上設立守望者，他們晝夜不停地呼喊。呼求耶和華的啊，你們不要歇息，也不要使他歇息，直等他建立耶路撒冷，使耶路撒冷在地上為人所讚美。
