還望爾等亦為吾儕祈禱、庶幾吾儕因眾兄弟之代求而獲得之福惠乃成為眾口稱謝之因緣。

as you help us by your prayers. Then many will give thanks on our behalf for the gracious favor granted us in answer to the prayers of many.

且予固知因爾等之虔求、並賴耶穌基督之神助、一切境遇、無非玉我於成、俾獲靈救、

蓋萬事莫非為爾等之故、亦欲使聖寵廣被元元、俾萬眾一心、稱謝天主之光榮云耳。

伯鐸祿在獄、教會為之切禱天主。

同時並請為我預備客舍、希望賴爾等之祈禱、吾終獲與爾等團聚耳。

請為吾儕祈求；蓋吾儕自問於心無愧日用之間、惟求遵行正道而已。

亦乞為吾儕祈求天主、為我洞開傳道之門、

最後尚望兄弟為吾儕祈禱、俾主之聖道日見發揚光大、如在爾中；

尚懇兄弟因吾主耶穌基督且憑聖神之愛德、為我祈禱天主、使我得脫於猶太諸不信者之手、使我之貢獻得蒙耶路撒冷諸聖徒之悅納、使我得依天主之旨、以歡欣鼓舞之情緒、到達爾處、且得在爾處稍事休息、則幸甚矣。

望兄弟為吾儕祈禱；

爾等應彼此認罪、互為祈求、俾得全復。善人之祈禱、厥效甚大。昔伊理藹虔祈勿雨、而其地不見雨者、三年六月；後復祈求、則天沛然下雨、地亦豐登。彼人也、我亦人也；有志者亦若斯。

當憑聖神之靈感祈禱不輟儆醒不倦、且為諸聖籲告、亦為予祈求辯才無礙、俾能以大無畏精神、闡發福音之蘊奧。

蓋爾等既眾德萃身、而發為慷慨之豪舉、吾儕更當將此慷慨、化為眾口誦主之因緣。是則此項善舉不僅補聖徒之不足、抑且使眾心感謝天主、於以增益天主之光榮。

同時若輩鑒於爾等之滿被聖寵、嚮往之念、必油然而發、且將為爾祈禱矣。
