我未至而目擊、則不信其言、今知爾之智慧廣大、所告我者、猶未及半、爾之實蹟、越於我所聞之名譽、

我先不信那些话，及至我来亲眼见了，才知道你的大智慧；人所告诉我的，还不到一半；你的实迹越过我所听见的名声。

But I did not believe what they said until I came and saw with my own eyes. Indeed, not even half the greatness of your wisdom was told me; you have far exceeded the report I heard.

But I didn’t believe what people were saying. So I came to see for myself. And now I believe it! You are twice as wise as people say you are. The report I heard doesn’t even begin to tell the whole story about you.

but I did not believe the reports until I came and my own eyes had seen it. And behold, half the greatness of your wisdom was not told me; you surpass the report that I heard.

I didn’t believe what was said until I arrived here and saw it with my own eyes. In fact, I had not heard the half of your great wisdom! It is far beyond what I was told.

其福何其洪、其榮何其美、少男以佳穀而昌、少女因新酒而盛、

耶路撒冷女曰諸女之美者歟、爾所愛者、較他人所愛者、何所愈乎、爾所愛者、較他人所愛者何所愈、爾乃囑我若此、對曰我所愛者、色白而紅、冠乎萬人、首若精金、髮密而卷、色黑如鴉、目若溪濱之鴿、洗滌以乳、止於滿溢之溪、頰若香花畦、又如香草壟、脣若百合花、且滴沒藥汁、手若金管、嵌以黃玉、身若象牙、飾以碧玉、脛若白石之柱、置於精金之座、形狀如利巴嫩、秀美如香柏木、其口甚甘、其人全體可愛、耶路撒冷諸女歟、此為我之所愛、我之良朋、

凡敬畏爾、託庇於爾者、爾於人前為備恩寵、何其宏大兮、

其明哲勝於萬人、超乎以斯拉人以探、及瑪曷子、希幔、甲各、達大、其聲名洋溢於四周之國、

諸徒語之曰、我已見主矣、多馬曰、我不見其手中釘迹、以指探之、手探其脇、必不信也、○越八日、門徒復集、多馬與焉、門已閉、耶穌至、立於中曰、願爾曹安、謂多馬曰、伸爾指、視我手、伸爾手、探我脇、勿疑、宜信也、多馬對曰、我主、我上帝哉、耶穌曰、爾見我故信、未見而信者、福矣、○

我未至而目擊、則不信其言、今知所告我者、猶未及半、爾之智慧福祉、過於我之所聞、

如經云、目未見、耳未聞、亦未入人之心者、即上帝為愛之者所備也、

愛友乎、今我儕為上帝子、將來若何、尚未顯明、所可知者、彼顯著時我克肖之、蓋將見之、如其固然也、
