耶和華啊，蒙你管教並用律法訓誨的人有福了！

耶和華啊，求你將你的律例教導我，我必遵守到底。

以利亞先知和我們一樣同是血肉之軀，他懇切地祈求不要下雨，結果三年半沒有下雨。後來他再禱告求雨，天就降雨，地也長出了莊稼。

多國的民都要前來，說：「來吧，讓我們登耶和華的山，去雅各之上帝的殿。祂必指示我們當行的路，我們也要遵行祂的道。」因為訓誨必出於錫安，耶和華的話語必來自耶路撒冷。

錫安的人民啊，你們應當歡喜快樂，從你們的上帝耶和華那裡得到喜樂。因為祂按時降下甘霖，像從前一樣賜給你們秋雨、春雨。

耶和華說：「那時，我要應允，我要應允天的祈求，天要應允地的祈求，地要應允五穀、新酒和油的祈求，五穀、新酒和油要應允耶斯列的祈求。

我要賜福他們，也要賜福我聖山的周圍，我要按季節降雨給他們，使恩福如雨降下。

在列國供奉的偶像中，誰能賜下雨水呢？天能自降甘霖嗎？我們的上帝耶和華啊，難道不是只有你能行這些事嗎？是你賜雨水降甘霖，所以我們仰望你。

凡敬畏耶和華的人，耶和華必指示他當走的路。

耶和華啊，求你指引我走你的路，教導我行你的道。求你以你的真理引領我，教導我，因為你是拯救我的上帝，我日夜仰望你。

耶和華說：「你們要站在路口觀望，尋訪古道，找到正路並行在其上，便會得到心靈的安寧。」但你們卻說：「我們拒絕這樣做。」

祂使密雲佈滿水氣，從雲端發出閃電。雲隨祂的指令旋轉，在地面之上完成祂的吩咐，或為懲罰大地，或為彰顯慈愛。「約伯啊，請留心聽，要駐足沉思上帝的奇妙作為。

願你的上帝耶和華指示我們該去哪裡，該做什麼。」

要在春季向耶和華求雨。祂創造雷雨，為世人降下甘霖，使田間長出青翠之物。

耶和華良善公正，祂教導罪人走正路，

你們心中從未說，我們要敬畏我們的上帝耶和華，祂按時降下秋雨和春雨，讓我們按時收割。

「當你的子民得罪你，你懲罰他們，叫天不降雨時，如果他們向著這殿禱告，承認你的名，並離開罪惡，求你在天上垂聽，赦免你僕人——你以色列子民的罪，教導他們走正道，降下甘霖滋潤你賜給你子民作產業的土地。

先知書上這樣說，『他們都要受上帝的訓誨』，這裡是指凡聽從父的教導又去效法的人，都會到我這裡來。

以利亞對他們說：「抓住巴力的先知，別放走一個人！」眾人就抓住他們，以利亞把他們帶到基順河邊，在那裡殺了他們。以利亞對亞哈說：「你去吃喝吧，因為我已聽見大雨將臨的聲音。」亞哈就去吃喝。以利亞上到迦密山頂，跪在地上，臉伏在雙膝之間。他吩咐僕人：「你去向海的方向觀看。」僕人就去觀看，然後說：「什麼也沒有。」以利亞又讓他去觀看，前後共七次。第七次，僕人說：「我看見一朵手掌那麼大的雲從海裡升起來了。」以利亞便吩咐他：「你去告訴亞哈，叫他套車下山，免得被雨阻擋。」霎時間，天上烏雲密佈，狂風大作，下起大雨。亞哈坐著馬車回耶斯列。

不管你們向左還是向右，都會聽見背後有聲音說：「這是正路，踏上去吧！」

上帝啊，你降下沛雨，滋潤你乾旱的產業——以色列，
