木工用準繩、以墨畫線、用利器雕刻、循規矩製造、作如人形、猶俊美之人體、置之於室、或為己伐柏香木、或取栗樹、橡樹、或選林中他樹、或植杉樹、得雨長養、凡此之木、人用之為薪、取以暖體、用以燃火烘餅、復用以作神像叩拜、用以作偶像、俯伏其前、以其半焚於火、即用以烹肉而食、或炙肉食以果腹、又藉以暖體、曰、噫、我溫矣、覺熱矣、所餘即作神像偶像、俯伏其前叩拜、禱之曰、求爾救我、因爾即我神、惟彼不知不悟、目塗不見、心蔽不明、心不思維、無識無知、獨不自問曰、此木之半、我焚之於火、在其炭上炊餅炙肉而食、則其所餘、豈可用作可憎之偶像、豈可俯伏而拜塊木乎、彼如以灰為食、中心昏昧、入於迷途、不知自救、不自曰、我右手所作、悉屬虛妄、
