直到今日，他们还没有痛悔，没有畏惧，也没有遵行我在你们和你们列祖面前所立的律法和条例。’

他行耶和华他的神看为恶的事；耶利米先知奉耶和华的命令警戒他，他仍不在耶利米面前谦卑下来。

这赏赐和那一人犯罪的后果也是不同的；因为审判是由一人而来，以致定罪，恩赏却由许多过犯而来，以致称义。

我受苦是对我有益的，为要使我学习你的律例。

主说：“起来，到那叫直街的路上去，要在犹大家里找一个大数人，名叫扫罗。你看，他正在祷告，

恶人的祭物是耶和华厌恶的；正直人的祷告却是他所喜悦的。

可是在亚设、玛拿西和西布伦中，也有人愿意谦卑，来到耶路撒冷。

我受苦以先，犯了错误；现在我谨守你的话。

伯沙撒啊！你是他的子孙，你虽然知道这一切，你的心仍不谦卑，
