以利亞對眾百姓說：「你們到我這裏來。」眾百姓就到他那裏，他把那已經毀壞了的耶和華的壇修好。

我揀選他，為要叫他命令他的子孫和後代家屬遵行耶和華的道，秉公行義，使耶和華所應許亞伯拉罕的話都實現了。」

「獻給耶和華平安祭的條例是這樣：若有人為感謝獻祭，就要把用油調和的無酵餅、抹了油的無酵薄餅，和用油調勻細麵做成的餅，與感謝祭一同獻上。要用有酵的餅，和那為感謝而獻的平安祭，與供物一同獻上。他要從每一種供物中拿一個餅，獻給耶和華為舉祭，是要歸給那灑平安祭牲血的祭司。為感謝而獻的平安祭的肉，要在獻祭當天吃，一點也不可留到早晨。若所獻的是還願祭或甘心祭，要在獻祭當天吃，剩下的，第二天也可以吃。第三天，所剩下的祭肉要用火焚燒。第三天若吃平安祭的肉，必不蒙悅納，所獻的也不算為祭；這祭物是不潔淨的，凡吃這祭物的，必擔當自己的罪孽。

但我已經為你祈求，使你不至於失了信心。你回頭以後，要堅固你的弟兄。」

神也按手在猶大人身上，使他們一心遵行王與眾領袖照着耶和華的話所發的命令。

瑪拿西引誘猶大和耶路撒冷的居民行惡，比耶和華在以色列人面前所滅的列國更嚴重。
