He got rid of the foreign gods and removed the image from the temple of the Lord, as well as all the altars he had built on the temple hill and in Jerusalem; and he threw them out of the city.

Manasseh got rid of the false gods. He removed the statue of one of those gods from the Lord’ s temple. He also removed all the altars he had built on the temple hill and in Jerusalem. He threw them out of the city.

And he took away the foreign gods and the idol from the house of the Lord, and all the altars that he had built on the mountain of the house of the Lord and in Jerusalem, and he threw them outside of the city.

Manasseh also removed the foreign gods and the idol from the Lord’s Temple. He tore down all the altars he had built on the hill where the Temple stood and all the altars that were in Jerusalem, and he dumped them outside the city.

他重新建築他父親希西家所拆毁的邱壇，又為巴力立了祭壇，又造亞舍拉神木，並且敬拜而服事天上的萬象。他竟又在永恆主殿中為外人的神築了祭壇；這殿是永恆主曾指着說：『我的名必永遠在耶路撒冷』的。瑪拿西在永恆主之殿的兩院中為天上萬象築了祭壇。並在欣嫩子谷將兒女用火燒獻為祭，又算命，又觀兆頭，又行邪術，又行交鬼的事和巫術；多行永恆主所看為壞的事，而惹他發怒。他又將他所做雕塑物的像立在上帝殿中；這殿卻是永恆主曾對大衛和大衛兒子所羅門指着說：『是在這殿並在我從以色列眾族派中所選擇的耶路撒冷、我要立我的名到永遠的。

惟獨犯罪的人、他自己必死亡；兒子必不擔當父親的罪罰，父親也不擔當兒子的罪罰；義人的義果必歸他自己，惡人的惡報也必歸他自己。『但是惡人若回轉離開他所犯的一切罪，謹守我一切的律例，行公平正義的事，他必定活着，不至於早死。他所犯的一切罪過必不給他記住；他必因所行的義而得活着。

結出與悔改相應的果子來吧！

人的驕傲必屈抑下來，人們的高傲必降為低微；惟獨永恆主在那日必被尊為崇高。眾偶相必全都過去。永恆主起來、使地戰抖時候，人必進入巖洞，進入土穴，去躲避永恆主之可畏懼、和他威嚴之榮光。當那日子、人必將他們為自己所造去敬拜的銀偶相金偶相拋給挖窩的田鼠和蝙蝠，以便永恆主起來使地戰抖時人好進巖隙，入巖罅，去躲避永恆主之可畏懼、和他威嚴之榮光。

又將他所造的亞舍拉神木的雕像立在聖殿中；這殿卻是永恆主曾對大衛和大衛兒子所羅門指着說：『是在這殿、並在我從以色列眾族派中所選擇的耶路撒冷、我要立我的名到永遠的。

以色列啊，你要回歸永恆主你的上帝，因為你是因你自己的罪孽而傾覆的。要帶着懺悔的話來回歸永恆主！對他說：『赦除一切罪孽哦！悅納善行哦！』那我們就獻上我們嘴脣之果實了。亞述不能拯救我們，駿馬我們必不再騎上；我們的手所造的我們必不再稱為「我們的上帝」，因為只有在你裏面孤兒得以找到憐憫。
