So the Lord saved Hezekiah and the people of Jerusalem from the hand of Sennacherib king of Assyria and from the hand of all others. He took care of them on every side.

For thus the Lord has spoken to me:“ As a lion roars, And a young lion over his prey( When a multitude of shepherds is summoned against him, He will not be afraid of their voice Nor be disturbed by their noise), So the Lord of hosts will come down To fight for Mount Zion and for its hill.Like birds flying about, So will the Lord of hosts defend Jerusalem. Defending, He will also deliver it; Passing over, He will preserve it.”

For this is God, Our God forever and ever; He will be our guide Even to death.

You will guide me with Your counsel, And afterward receive me to glory.

You, who have shown me great and severe troubles, Shall revive me again, And bring me up again from the depths of the earth.You shall increase my greatness, And comfort me on every side.

Yet I will have mercy on the house of Judah, Will save them by the Lord their God, And will not save them by bow, Nor by sword or battle, By horses or horsemen.”

But the salvation of the righteous is from the Lord; He is their strength in the time of trouble.And the Lord shall help them and deliver them; He shall deliver them from the wicked, And save them, Because they trust in Him.

He delivers me from my enemies. You also lift me up above those who rise against me; You have delivered me from the violent man.Therefore I will give thanks to You, O Lord, among the Gentiles, And sing praises to Your name.Great deliverance He gives to His king, And shows mercy to His anointed, To David and his descendants forevermore.

The Lord will guide you continually, And satisfy your soul in drought, And strengthen your bones; You shall be like a watered garden, And like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.

The One who gives salvation to kings, Who delivers David His servant From the deadly sword.

Therefore thus says the Lord GOD of hosts:“ O My people, who dwell in Zion, do not be afraid of the Assyrian. He shall strike you with a rod and lift up his staff against you, in the manner of Egypt.For yet a very little while and the indignation will cease, as will My anger in their destruction.”

( For the Lord is our Judge, The Lord is our Lawgiver, The Lord is our King; He will save us);

However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.

Now may the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and into the patience of Christ.
