我与我列祖向列邦所行的，你们岂不知道吗？列邦的神何尝能救自己的国脱离我手呢？

我与我祖先向列邦民族所行的，你们岂不知道吗？列邦的神明何尝能救自己的国脱离我的手呢？

难道你们不知道我和我的祖先怎样对付列国吗？列国的神明哪个能从我手中救自己的国家呢？

我和我列祖向各地的民族所行的，你们不知道吗？各地列国的神能拯救他们的国脱离我的手吗？

我與我列祖向列邦所行的，你們豈不知道嗎？列邦的神何嘗能救自己的國脫離我手呢？

我與我祖先向列邦民族所行的，你們豈不知道嗎？列邦的神明何嘗能救自己的國脫離我的手呢？

難道你們不知道我和我的祖先怎樣對付列國嗎？列國的神明哪個能從我手中救自己的國家呢？

我和我列祖向各地的民族所行的，你們不知道嗎？各地列國的神能拯救他們的國脫離我的手嗎？

我和我列祖向四圍各地萬族之民所行的、你們不知道麼？各地列國的神何嘗真能援救他們本地脫離我的手呢？

我與列祖何以待列邦之民、爾豈不知乎、列邦之神、能救其國脫於我手乎、

我與列祖、滅四方民、爾豈不知乎、列邦之上帝、豈能救其國、脫於我手乎。

我與列祖如何待列邦、爾豈不知乎、列邦之神、能救其國脫於我手乎、

“ Do you not know what I and my predecessors have done to all the peoples of the other lands? Were the gods of those nations ever able to deliver their land from my hand?

“‘ Don’t you know what I and the kings who ruled before me have done? Don’t you know what we’ve done to all the peoples of the other lands? Were the gods of those nations ever able to save their lands from my power?

Do you not know what I and my fathers have done to all the peoples of other lands? Were the gods of the nations of those lands at all able to deliver their lands out of my hand?

“ Surely you must realize what I and the other kings of Assyria before me have done to all the people of the earth! Were any of the gods of those nations able to rescue their people from my power?

“‘ Don’t you know what I and my predecessors have done to all the peoples of the lands? Have any of the national gods of the lands been able to rescue their land from my power?

Do you not know what I and my fathers have done to all the peoples of the lands? Were the gods of the nations of those lands at all able to save their land from my hand?

Do you not know what I and my fathers have done to all the peoples of other lands? Were the gods of the nations of those lands in any way able to deliver their lands out of my hand?

Know ye not what I and my fathers have done unto all the peoples of the lands? Were the gods of the nations of the lands in any wise able to deliver their land out of my hand?

“‘ Don’t you know what I and my fathers have done to all the peoples of the lands? Have any of the national gods of the lands been able to deliver their land from my power?

Know ye not what I and my fathers have done unto all the people of[ other] lands? were the gods of the nations of those lands any ways able to deliver their lands out of mine hand?

Are you not aware of what I and my predecessors have done to all the nations of the surrounding lands? Have the gods of the surrounding lands actually been able to rescue their lands from my power?

Don’t you know what I and my fathers have done to all the peoples of the lands? Were the gods of the nations of the lands in any way able to deliver their land out of my hand?

列国的神有哪一个救他本国脱离亚述王的手呢？哈马、亚珥拔的神在哪里呢？西法瓦音、希拿、以瓦的神在哪里呢？他们曾救撒玛利亚脱离我的手吗？这些国的神有谁曾救自己的国脱离我的手呢？难道耶和华能救耶路撒冷脱离我的手吗？’”

你们不要恐惧，也不要害怕。我岂不是从上古就说明指示你们吗？并且你们是我的见证！除我以外，岂有真神吗？诚然没有磐石，我不知道一个！”制造雕刻偶像的尽都虚空；他们所喜悦的都无益处；他们的见证无所看见，无所知晓，他们便觉羞愧。谁制造神像，铸造无益的偶像？

然而，我们的神在天上，都随自己的意旨行事。他们的偶像是金的，银的，是人手所造的，有口却不能言，有眼却不能看，有耳却不能听，有鼻却不能闻，有手却不能摸，有脚却不能走，有喉咙也不能出声。造他的要和他一样；凡靠他的也要如此。

论到吃祭偶像之物，我们知道偶像在世上算不得什么，也知道神只有一位，再没有别的神。

你总听说亚述诸王向列国所行的，乃是尽行灭绝，难道你还能得救吗？我列祖所毁灭的，就是歌散、哈兰、利色，和属提拉撒的伊甸人，这些国的神何曾拯救这些国呢？哈马的王、亚珥拔的王、西法瓦音城的王、希拿，和以瓦的王都在哪里呢？’”

以色列王比加年间，亚述王提革拉毗列色来夺了以云、亚伯伯玛迦、亚挪、基低斯、夏琐、基列、加利利，和拿弗他利全地，将这些地方的居民都掳到亚述去了。

迦勒挪岂不像迦基米施吗？哈马岂不像亚珥拔吗？撒玛利亚岂不像大马士革吗？我手已经够到有偶像的国；这些国雕刻的偶像过于耶路撒冷和撒玛利亚的偶像。

这保罗不但在以弗所，也几乎在亚细亚全地，引诱迷惑许多人，说：‘人手所做的，不是神。’这是你们所看见所听见的。

你们要对他们如此说：“不是那创造天地的神，必从地上从天下被除灭！”耶和华用能力创造大地，用智慧建立世界，用聪明铺张穹苍。

耶和华啊，亚述诸王果然使列国和列国之地变为荒凉，将列国的神像都扔在火里；因为他本不是神，乃是人手所造的，是木头、石头的，所以灭绝他。耶和华我们的神啊，现在求你救我们脱离亚述王的手，使天下万国都知道惟有你是耶和华。”

耶和华啊，亚述诸王果然使列国和列国之地变为荒凉，将列国的神像都扔在火里；因为它本不是神，乃是人手所造的，是木头石头的，所以灭绝它。耶和华我们的神啊，现在求你救我们脱离亚述王的手，使天下万国都知道惟独你耶和华是神！”

因神所赐他的大权，各方、各国、各族的人都在他面前战兢恐惧。他可以随意生杀，随意升降。

亚述王上来攻击以色列遍地，上到撒玛利亚，围困三年。何细亚第九年亚述王攻取了撒玛利亚，将以色列人掳到亚述，把他们安置在哈腊与歌散的哈博河边，并玛代人的城邑。

雅各的份不像这些，因他是造作万有的主。以色列也是他产业的支派，万军之耶和华是他的名。

现在我尼布甲尼撒赞美、尊崇、恭敬天上的王；因为他所做的全都诚实，他所行的也都公平。那行动骄傲的，他能降为卑。

我的手够到列国的财宝，好像人够到鸟窝；我也得了全地，好像人拾起所弃的雀蛋。没有动翅膀的；没有张嘴的，也没有鸣叫的。”

我列祖所毁灭的，就是歌散、哈兰、利色，和属提拉撒的伊甸人；这些国的神何曾拯救这些国呢？哈马的王，亚珥拔的王，西法瓦音城的王，希拿和以瓦的王，都在哪里呢？’”

他们论耶路撒冷的神，如同论世上人手所造的神一样。

他说：“这大巴比伦不是我用大能大力建为京都，要显我威严的荣耀吗？”
