何希西家廢彼崇坵、去彼祭壇、命猶大族、耶路撒冷民、惟在一壇崇拜焚香。

此希西家曾廢天主之邱壇與祭臺、且命猶大及耶路撒冷民曰、爾惟在一祭臺前崇拜、在此祭臺上焚香、

Did not Hezekiah himself remove this god’s high places and altars, saying to Judah and Jerusalem,‘ You must worship before one altar and burn sacrifices on it’?

Didn’t Hezekiah himself remove your god’s high places and altars? Didn’t Hezekiah say to the people of Judah and Jerusalem,“ You must worship at one altar. You must burn sacrifices on it”?

Has not this same Hezekiah taken away his high places and his altars and commanded Judah and Jerusalem,“ Before one altar you shall worship, and on it you shall burn your sacrifices”?

Don’t you realize that Hezekiah is the very person who destroyed all the Lord’s shrines and altars? He commanded Judah and Jerusalem to worship only at the altar at the Temple and to offer sacrifices on it alone.

Didn’t Hezekiah himself remove his high places and his altars and say to Judah and Jerusalem,“ You must worship before one altar, and you must burn incense on it”?

Is it not the same Hezekiah who removed His high places and His altars, and said to Judah and Jerusalem,“ You shall worship before one altar, and on it you shall burn incense”?

Has not the same Hezekiah taken away His high places and His altars, and commanded Judah and Jerusalem, saying,“ You shall worship before one altar and burn incense on it”?

Hath not the same Hezekiah taken away his high places and his altars, and commanded Judah and Jerusalem, saying, Ye shall worship before one altar, and upon it shall ye burn incense?

Didn’t Hezekiah himself remove His high places and His altars and say to Judah and Jerusalem,“ You must worship before one altar, and you must burn incense on it”?

Hezekiah is the one who eliminated the LORD’s high places and altars and then told Judah and Jerusalem,“ At one altar you must worship and offer sacrifices.”

Hasn’t the same Hezekiah taken away his high places and his altars, and commanded Judah and Jerusalem, saying,‘ You shall worship before one altar, and you shall burn incense on it?’

When all this had ended, the Israelites who were there went out to the towns of Judah, smashed the sacred stones and cut down the Asherah poles. They destroyed the high places and the altars throughout Judah and Benjamin and in Ephraim and Manasseh. After they had destroyed all of them, the Israelites returned to their own towns and to their own property. (niv)

“ Make an altar of acacia wood for burning incense.It is to be square, a cubit long and a cubit wide, and two cubits high— its horns of one piece with it.Overlay the top and all the sides and the horns with pure gold, and make a gold molding around it.Make two gold rings for the altar below the molding— two on each of the opposite sides— to hold the poles used to carry it.Make the poles of acacia wood and overlay them with gold.Put the altar in front of the curtain that shields the ark of the covenant law— before the atonement cover that is over the tablets of the covenant law— where I will meet with you. (niv)

He removed the high places, smashed the sacred stones and cut down the Asherah poles. He broke into pieces the bronze snake Moses had made, for up to that time the Israelites had been burning incense to it.( It was called Nehushtan.) (niv)

But if you say to me,“ We are depending on the Lord our God”— isn’t he the one whose high places and altars Hezekiah removed, saying to Judah and Jerusalem,“ You must worship before this altar”? (niv)

Moses placed the gold altar in the tent of meeting in front of the curtainand burned fragrant incense on it, as the Lord commanded him.Then he put up the curtain at the entrance to the tabernacle.He set the altar of burnt offering near the entrance to the tabernacle, the tent of meeting, and offered on it burnt offerings and grain offerings, as the Lord commanded him. (niv)

“ Build an altar of acacia wood, three cubits high; it is to be square, five cubits long and five cubits wide.Make a horn at each of the four corners, so that the horns and the altar are of one piece, and overlay the altar with bronze.Make all its utensils of bronze— its pots to remove the ashes, and its shovels, sprinkling bowls, meat forks and firepans.Make a grating for it, a bronze network, and make a bronze ring at each of the four corners of the network.Put it under the ledge of the altar so that it is halfway up the altar.Make poles of acacia wood for the altar and overlay them with bronze.The poles are to be inserted into the rings so they will be on two sides of the altar when it is carried.Make the altar hollow, out of boards. It is to be made just as you were shown on the mountain. (niv)

Be careful not to sacrifice your burnt offerings anywhere you please.Offer them only at the place the Lord will choose in one of your tribes, and there observe everything I command you. (niv)

But take your consecrated things and whatever you have vowed to give, and go to the place the Lord will choose.Present your burnt offerings on the altar of the Lord your God, both the meat and the blood. The blood of your sacrifices must be poured beside the altar of the Lord your God, but you may eat the meat. (niv)

But if you say to me,“ We are depending on the Lord our God”— isn’t he the one whose high places and altars Hezekiah removed, saying to Judah and Jerusalem,“ You must worship before this altar in Jerusalem”? (niv)

He made a bronze altar twenty cubits long, twenty cubits wide and ten cubits high. (niv)

Solomon also made all the furnishings that were in the Lord’s temple: the golden altar; the golden table on which was the bread of the Presence; (niv)
