In everything that he undertook in the service of God’s temple and in obedience to the law and the commands, he sought his God and worked wholeheartedly. And so he prospered.

He tried to obey his God. He worked for him with all his heart. That’s the way he worked in everything he did to serve God’s temple. He obeyed the law. He followed the Lord’ s commands. So he had success.

And every work that he undertook in the service of the house of God and in accordance with the law and the commandments, seeking his God, he did with all his heart, and prospered.

In all that he did in the service of the Temple of God and in his efforts to follow God’s laws and commands, Hezekiah sought his God wholeheartedly. As a result, he was very successful.

He was diligent in every deed that he began in the service of God’s temple, in the instruction and the commands, in order to seek his God, and he prospered.

Every work which he began in the service of the house of God in the Law and in the commandment, seeking his God, he did with all his heart and prospered.

爾當先求天主國與其義、則此諸物、必加於爾也、

倘爾尋覓我、盡心訪求我、則必得遇我、

當通曉天主默示之撒迦利雅在世、烏西雅尋求天主、尋求主時、天主使之亨通、

爾當盡心盡意盡力、愛主爾之天主、

惟喜悅主之律法、晝夜思維、似此之人、即為有福、彼如樹木、植於溪旁、臨時結果、其葉不枯、所為之事、無不亨通、

凡爾手所經營之事、當盡力經營、因爾所將往之示阿勒、示阿勒有譯黃泉有譯陰府有譯墳墓無經營、無計謀、無知識、無智慧、○

故當謹守遵行此約之言、則於凡所為無不亨通、○

主亦必踐向我所應許之言、主曾應許我曰、如爾子孫謹慎其道、盡心盡意、誠實無妄、行於我前、則將繼爾坐以色列國位、永遠不絕、

亞撒謂猶大人曰、我儕當建此數邑、環築城垣、建樓、作門與楗、國仍歸於我儕、國仍歸於我儕原文作國仍在我儕前因我儕尋求主我之天主、既尋求之、主我之天主、賜我四境平康、於是建築城邑、無不亨通、

故當定爾心意、尋求主爾之天主、起而建主爾天主之聖殿、以主之約匱及天主之聖器、攜入為主名將建之殿中、

惟當強爾心、壯爾志、謹守遵行、我僕摩西所命爾之全律法、不偏於左、不偏於右、使爾無論何為、何為原文作何往無不明哲、或作無不利達此律法之書、不可離爾口、晝夜思維、致爾謹守遵行凡載於書者、如是必亨通於凡所作、於凡所作原文作於爾諸道如是必明哲、必明哲或作必利達

爾若謹守遵行主藉摩西命以色列人之律例法度、則爾必亨通、但當強爾心、壯爾志、或作但當奮勇勉力勿畏葸、勿恐懼、

以色列人乎、主爾之天主、欲爾所為何事、第敬畏主爾之天主、行其道、敬愛之、盡心盡意奉事之、

第四日、集於比拉迦比拉迦譯即頌讚之義谷、頌讚主、故稱其地曰比拉迦谷、至於今日其名尚存、

故凡聞我此言而行之者、我譬之智人、建屋於磐上、雨降、河溢、風吹、撞其屋而不傾頹、因基在磐上也、凡聞我此言而不行者、譬之愚人、建屋於沙上、雨降、河溢、風吹、撞其屋而傾頹、其傾頹者大矣、
