他们的住处按着境内的营寨如下：亚伦的子孙哥辖族先抽签得地，得了犹大地的希伯仑和四围的郊野；只是这城的田地和所属的村庄都为耶孚尼的儿子迦勒所得。亚伦的子孙所得逃城如下：希伯仑、立拿与其郊野、雅提珥、以实提莫与其郊野、希仑与其郊野、底璧与其郊野、亚珊与其郊野、伯‧示麦与其郊野。他们也从便雅悯支派中得了迦巴与其郊野、阿勒篾与其郊野、亚拿突与其郊野。他们宗族所得的城共十三座。

被选作门口守卫的总共有二百一十二名。他们在自己的村庄，按着家谱登记，是大卫和撒母耳先见所派担当这受托之职任的。

耶歇、亚撒细雅、拿哈、亚撒黑、耶利摩、约撒拔、以列、伊斯玛基雅、玛哈、比拿雅都是督办，在歌楠雅和他兄弟示每的手下，是希西家王和管理神殿的亚撒利雅所委派的。
