然爾於斯土毀偶像、誠心崇上帝、猶可為善。○

爾小子、心歸乎我、目注乎道。

以士喇克誠厥心、學耶和華律例、謹恪遵行、以法度禮儀、示以色列族。

爾如洗心、祈禱上帝、

貧者上祈、耶和華傾耳垂聽、而堅其志兮、

列祖亞伯拉罕、以撒、以色列之上帝耶和華與、願使爾民恆懷斯心、以奉事爾、

民未一心奉事列祖之上帝、故崇坵不廢。

當告之曰、凡爾歷代子孫、有蒙不潔、而捫以色列族所獻我之物、必絕之我前、我耶和華所命如此。凡亞倫子孫患癩、或白濁、不可食聖物、待潔則可、有捫尸夢遺之人、為亞倫子孫所捫者、或捫污衊之蟲、或捫不潔之人、凡若此者、爾如捫之、必蒙厥污、當洗濯其身、至於薄暮、可食聖物。

告亞倫、凡爾歷代子孫、體有不備者、勿享上帝。凡體不備者、勿近我前、如瞽、跛、鼼、四肢不均、或手足傷毀、或傴僂、或侏儒、或瞕翳、或疥癬、或瘡痍、或損外腎、凡祭司亞倫之族、體有不備者、勿近我前、以獻燔祭、享厥上帝。所奉之禮物、以享上帝者、無論聖與至聖、彼亦得而食之、簾中不可入、壇前不可近、恐玷我聖所、蓋我耶和華已使之成聖。

凡捫尸不自滌理、不以去污之水、灑其身、則仍不潔、玷我會幕、必絕於以色列族中、倘人偶死於幕、有定例焉、凡在幕中、或入此幕者、必蒙不潔、迨七日乃免。凡諸器皿、未覆以蓋者、亦蒙不潔。在野有見殺者、或自斃之尸、或人骨、或荒塚、凡捫之者、必蒙不潔、迨七日乃免。欲使不潔者復潔、必取贖罪之犢灰、置於器皿、加以活水、蒙潔之人、浸牛膝草於中、灑幕與器、及在幕之眾、更及捫見殺者自斃者之尸、捫骨捫塚者、越至三日、及七日、潔者必灑不潔者、歷至七日、使澣衣濯身、迨夕始潔。人蒙不潔、而不以去污之水、灑身自滌、則乃不潔、既玷我聖室、必絕於民中。

當使以色列族自相區別、去諸污衊、恐玷我幕、陷於死亡。○凡男患白濁、夢遺、女患月癸之疾、或患血淋、或與不潔之婦同寢者、其例若此。

既產流血、必更待三十三日、乃潔、斯日未盈、不可捫聖物、不可入聖地。

有人捫尸蒙污、不得於是日守逾越節、至摩西亞倫前、

撒母耳告以色列眾曰、如爾盡心歸耶和華、則他上帝及亞大綠、必絕於爾中、當備爾心、獨事耶和華、則彼援爾於非利士人手。
