who wants to worship God with all their heart. God is the Lord, the God of their people. May God forgive them even if they aren’t‘ clean’ in keeping with the rules of the temple.”

然而你還有善行，因你從國中除掉亞舍拉，立定心意尋求神。」

我兒啊，要將你的心歸我，你的眼目也要喜愛我的道路。

以斯拉立志考究遵行耶和華的律法，又將律例典章教導以色列人。

「至於你，若堅固己心，又向主舉手；

耶和華啊，困苦人的心願你早已聽見；你必堅固他們的心，也必側耳聽他們的祈求，

耶和華－我們列祖亞伯拉罕、以撒、以色列的神啊，求你使你的百姓心中常存這樣的心思意念，堅定他們的心歸向你，

只是丘壇還沒有廢去，百姓也沒有立定心意歸向他們列祖的神。

你要對他們說：你們世世代代的後裔，凡不潔淨的，卻挨近以色列人所分別為聖，歸給耶和華的聖物，那人必從我面前剪除。我是耶和華。亞倫的後裔中，凡有痲瘋病的，或患漏症的，都不可吃聖物，直等他潔淨了。無論誰摸了那因屍體而不潔淨的東西，或遺精的人，或摸到任何使他不潔淨的羣聚動物或使他不潔淨的人，無論那人有甚麼不潔淨，摸了這些的人必不潔淨到晚上；若不用水洗身，就不可吃聖物。

「你吩咐亞倫說：你世世代代的後裔，凡有殘疾的都不可近前來獻神的食物。因為凡有殘疾的，無論是失明的、瘸腿的、五官不正的、肢體之一過長的、斷腳的、斷手的、駝背的、侏儒的、有眼疾的、長癬的、長疥的，或是睪丸壓傷的，都不可近前來。亞倫祭司的後裔，凡有殘疾的都不可近前來獻耶和華的火祭。他有殘疾，不可近前來獻神的食物。神的食物，無論是聖的，或是至聖的，他都可以吃。但他不可進到幔子前，也不可挨近祭壇前，因為他有殘疾，免得他褻瀆我的聖所。我是使他們分別為聖的耶和華。」

凡摸了死屍，就是死了的人的屍體，又不潔淨自己的，就玷污了耶和華的帳幕，這人必從以色列中剪除；因為那除污穢的水沒有灑在他身上，他就不潔淨，污穢還在他身上。「若有人死在帳棚裏，條例是這樣：凡進那帳棚的，和所有在帳棚裏的人，都必不潔淨七天。凡敞開的，沒有用繩子紮好蓋子的器皿，也不潔淨。任何人在田野裏摸了被刀殺的，或自然死的，或人的骨頭，或墳墓，就必不潔淨七天。要為這不潔淨的人拿一些燒好的除罪灰放在器皿裏，倒上清水。一個潔淨的人要拿牛膝草蘸在這水中，把水彈在帳棚上，和一切器皿以及帳棚內的人身上，又要彈在那摸了骨頭，或摸了被殺的或自然死的，或摸了墳墓的人身上。那潔淨的人要在第三天和第七天把水彈在不潔淨的人身上，在第七天潔淨那人。那人要洗衣服，用水洗澡，到晚上就潔淨了。但任何不潔淨的人，他若不潔淨自己，那人要從會中剪除，因為他玷污了耶和華的聖所，除污穢的水沒有灑在他身上，他是不潔淨的。

「你們要使以色列人與他們的不潔淨隔離，免得他們玷污我在他們中間的帳幕，因自己的不潔淨死亡。」這條例是為漏症患者或遺精而不潔淨者，女人經期的不潔，男女患漏症，以及男人與不潔淨女人同寢而立的。

婦人產後流血的潔淨，要家居三十三天。她潔淨的日子未滿，不可摸聖物，也不可進入聖所。

有幾個人因屍體成了不潔淨，不能在那日守逾越節。當天他們到摩西、亞倫面前。

撒母耳對以色列全家說：「你們若全心回轉歸向耶和華，就要從你們中間除掉外邦的神明和亞斯她錄，預備你們的心歸向耶和華，單單事奉他，他必救你們脫離非利士人的手。」
