who sets their heart on seeking God— the Lord, the God of their ancestors— even if they are not clean according to the rules of the sanctuary.”

who wants to worship God with all their heart. God is the Lord, the God of their people. May God forgive them even if they aren’t‘ clean’ in keeping with the rules of the temple.”

然爾尚有善事在焉、即除境內之木偶、致志尋求上帝也、○

我子、歸心於我、注目我道、

以斯拉決志究察耶和華律、而遵行之、且以典章律例、訓誨於以色列中、○

爾若秉心正直、向上帝舉手、

耶和華歟、謙卑者之祈、爾已聞之、必堅厥志、傾耳聽之、

我列祖亞伯拉罕、以撒、以色列之上帝、耶和華歟、願使爾名恆存此念、堅心於爾、

惟崇邱未廢、民未決志歸其列祖之上帝、

當語之曰、凡爾歷世子孫、有蒙不潔、而近以色列族所獻耶和華之聖物、必絕於我前、我乃耶和華也、凡亞倫子孫患癩、或白濁、不可食聖物、待潔則可、或緣尸而蒙不潔、或夢遺之人、或捫致污之蟲、或捫致污之人、凡若此者、爾如捫之、必蒙不潔、迨夕乃免、苟非洗濯其身、勿食聖物、

告亞倫云、凡爾歷世子孫、厥體有疵者、勿近其上帝而獻食、凡體有疵者、不得近之、如瞽、跛、凹鼻、肢體不均、或手足傷毀、或傴僂、或侏儒、或瞕翳、或疥癬、或瘡痍、或傷損外腎、凡祭司亞倫之裔、厥體有疵者、勿近耶和華、以獻火祭、體既有疵、不得進前、獻食於其上帝、所獻上帝之食、無論聖與至聖、彼亦得而食之、㡘內不可入、壇前不可近、體既有疵、恐其玷我聖所、蓋我乃耶和華、使之成聖也、

凡捫死者之尸、而不自滌、玷耶和華之幕、必絕於以色列中、去污之水未灑其身、必為不潔、其污仍存、人死於幕、有定例焉、凡入此幕、或在幕中者、必蒙不潔、歷至七日、凡開啟之器、未覆以蓋者、亦蒙不潔、在野見殺於刃者、或自斃之尸、或人骨、或荒塚、捫之者必蒙不潔、歷至七日、當為不潔者、取所焚贖罪祭之灰、置於器中、加以活水、必潔者一人、浸牛膝草於水中、灑幕與其諸器、及在幕中之眾、與捫見殺者自斃者之尸、捫骨捫塚者、三日及七日、潔者必灑不潔者、至七日、使之成潔、其人澣衣濯身、迨夕乃潔、人蒙不潔、而不自滌、玷耶和華聖所、必絕於民中、去污之水未灑其身、必為不潔、

如是區別以色列族、使離污衊、免玷我幕、陷於死亡、○凡男患白濁及夢遺、致蒙厥污、女患行癸之疾、或患淋之男女、或與不潔之婦同寢者、其例若此、

洗滌其血、三十三日乃潔、斯日未盈、不可捫聖物、不可入聖所、

有人緣尸蒙污、不得於是日守逾越節、至摩西亞倫前、

撒母耳告以色列家曰、如爾一心歸耶和華、則必除異族之神、及亞斯他錄於爾中、專心歸耶和華、而獨事之、則彼援爾於非利士人手、
