有四千人作守門的，又有四千人用大衛所做的樂器頌讚耶和華。

祭司示巴尼、約沙法、拿坦業、亞瑪賽、撒迦利雅、比拿亞、以利以謝在神的約櫃前吹號。俄別‧以東和耶希亞也是約櫃前守門的。

彈琴鼓瑟唱消閑的歌曲，為自己製造樂器，如同大衛所造的；

要用角聲讚美他，鼓瑟彈琴讚美他！擊鼓跳舞讚美他！用絲弦的樂器和簫的聲音讚美他！用大響的鈸讚美他！用高聲的鈸讚美他！

當在月朔並月望－我們過節的日期吹角，

要用琴歌頌耶和華，用琴和詩歌的聲音歌頌他！用號和角聲，在大君王耶和華面前歡呼！

耶和華肯救我，所以，我們要一生一世在耶和華殿中用絲弦的樂器唱我的詩歌。

他們出聖所的時候，歌唱的利未人亞薩、希幔、耶杜頓，和他們的眾子眾弟兄都穿細麻布衣服，站在壇的東邊，敲鈸、鼓瑟、彈琴，同着他們有一百二十個祭司吹號。吹號的、歌唱的都一齊發聲，聲合為一，讚美感謝耶和華。吹號、敲鈸，用各種樂器，揚聲讚美耶和華說：耶和華本為善，他的慈愛永遠長存！那時，耶和華的殿有雲充滿，

亞倫子孫作祭司的要吹這號；這要作你們世世代代永遠的定例。

七個祭司要拿七個羊角走在約櫃前。到第七日，你們要繞城七次，祭司也要吹角。他們吹的角聲拖長，你們聽見角聲，眾百姓要大聲呼喊，城牆就必塌陷，各人都要往前直上。」嫩的兒子約書亞召了祭司來，吩咐他們說：「你們擡起約櫃來，要有七個祭司拿七個羊角走在耶和華的約櫃前」；又對百姓說：「你們前去繞城，帶兵器的要走在耶和華的約櫃前。」約書亞對百姓說完了話，七個祭司拿七個羊角走在耶和華面前吹角；耶和華的約櫃在他們後面跟隨。帶兵器的走在吹角的祭司前面，後隊隨着約櫃行。祭司一面走一面吹。

歌唱的，跳舞的，都要說：我的泉源都在你裏面。

祭司比拿雅和雅哈悉常在神的約櫃前吹號。

在你們快樂的日子和節期，並月朔，獻燔祭和平安祭，也要吹號，這都要在你們的神面前作為紀念。我是耶和華－你們的神。」
