He stationed the Levites in the temple of the Lord with cymbals, harps and lyres in the way prescribed by David and Gad the king’s seer and Nathan the prophet; this was commanded by the Lord through his prophets.

Hezekiah stationed the Levites in the Lord’ s temple. They had cymbals, harps and lyres. They did everything in the way King David, his prophet Gad, and Nathan the prophet had required. The Lord had given commands about all these things through his prophets.

And he stationed the Levites in the house of the Lord with cymbals, harps, and lyres, according to the commandment of David and of Gad the king’s seer and of Nathan the prophet, for the commandment was from the Lord through his prophets.

King Hezekiah then stationed the Levites at the Temple of the Lord with cymbals, lyres, and harps. He obeyed all the commands that the Lord had given to King David through Gad, the king’s seer, and the prophet Nathan.

歌唱的亚萨子孙，照着大卫、亚萨、希幔和王的先见耶杜顿所吩咐的，站在自己的位上。守门的看守各门，不用离开他们的职守，因为他们的弟兄利未人给他们预备。

大卫和事奉团队的众领袖分派亚萨、希幔，以及耶杜顿的子孙唱歌，以弹琴、鼓瑟、敲钹伴奏。他们供职的人数如下：亚萨的儿子撒刻、约瑟、尼探雅、亚萨利拉，亚萨的儿子都在亚萨的指导下，遵王的指示唱歌。属耶杜顿，耶杜顿的儿子基大利、西利、耶筛亚、示每、哈沙比雅、玛他提雅共六人，都在他们父亲耶杜顿的指导下唱歌，以弹琴伴奏，称谢，颂赞耶和华。属希幔，希幔的儿子是布基雅、玛探雅、乌薛、细布业、耶利末、哈拿尼雅、哈拿尼、以利亚他、基大利提、罗幔提‧以谢、约施比加沙、玛罗提、何提、玛哈秀。这些都是希幔的儿子；希幔奉神之命作王的先见，吹角颂赞。神赐给希幔十四个儿子，三个女儿，他们都在父亲的指导下，在耶和华的殿唱歌，以敲钹、弹琴、鼓瑟伴奏，遵从王的指示，在神的殿里事奉。亚萨、耶杜顿、希幔，他们和他们的弟兄学习颂赞耶和华，精通者的数目共有二百八十八人。

歌唱的有利未人的族长，住在殿的房间，昼夜供职，不做别样的工。

大卫派几个利未人在耶和华的约柜前事奉，颂扬，称谢，赞美耶和华—以色列的神：为首的是亚萨，其次是撒迦利雅、耶利、示米拉末、耶歇、玛他提雅、以利押、比拿雅、俄别‧以东、耶利；他们鼓瑟弹琴，亚萨敲钹，声音响亮；

大卫吩咐利未人的领袖派他们歌唱的弟兄用琴瑟和钹的乐器奏乐，欢欢喜喜地大声歌颂。于是利未人派约珥的儿子希幔和他弟兄中比利家的儿子亚萨，以及他们同族弟兄米拉利子孙里古沙雅的儿子以探。其次还有跟随他们的弟兄撒迦利雅、便‧雅薛、示米拉末、耶歇、乌尼、以利押、比拿雅、玛西雅、玛他提雅、以利斐利户、弥克尼雅，以及门口的守卫俄别‧以东和耶利。歌唱的希幔、亚萨和以探，敲铜钹，声音响亮；撒迦利雅、雅薛、示米拉末、耶歇、乌尼、以利押、玛西雅、比拿雅鼓瑟，调用女音；玛他提雅、以利斐利户、弥克尼雅、俄别‧以东、耶利、亚撒西雅用琴指挥，调用第八。基拿尼雅是利未人圣咏团的领袖，又教导人唱歌，因为他精通此事。

大卫早晨起来，耶和华的话临到迦得先知，就是大卫的先见，说：

神也按手在犹大人身上，使他们一心遵行王与众领袖照着耶和华的话所发的命令。

希幔、耶杜顿同他们吹号、敲钹，声音响亮，并用其他乐器配合，歌颂神。耶杜顿的子孙作门口的守卫。

大卫王自始至终的事迹，看哪，都写在撒母耳先见的书上、拿单先知的书上和迦得先见的书上，

耶和华吩咐迦得，大卫的先见，说：

王对拿单先知说：“你看，我住在香柏木的宫中，神的约柜却停在幔子里。”拿单对王说：“你可以完全照你的心意去做，因为耶和华与你同在。”当夜耶和华的话临到拿单，说：

耶和华差遣拿单到大卫那里。拿单到了他那里，对他说：“在一座城里有两个人，一个是富翁，一个是穷人。富翁有极多的牛群羊群；穷人除了所买来养活的一只小母羊之外，一无所有。小羊在他家里和他儿女一同长大，吃他所吃的，喝他所喝的，睡在他怀中，在他看来如同女儿一样。有一客人来到这富翁那里，富翁舍不得从自己的牛群羊群中取一只招待来到他那里的旅客，却取了穷人的小母羊，招待来到他那里的人。”大卫就非常恼怒那人，对拿单说：“我指着永生的耶和华起誓，做这事的人该死！他必须偿还小母羊四倍，因为他做这事，没有怜悯的心。”拿单对大卫说：“你就是那人！耶和华—以色列的神如此说：‘我膏你作以色列的王，我救你脱离扫罗的手；

大卫说：“这一切，所有工作的样式，是耶和华用手写的文件使我明白的。”

被灵感动所得的一切样式：耶和华殿的院子、周围一切的房屋、神殿的库房和圣物库房；
