My sons, do not be negligent now, for the Lord has chosen you to stand before him and serve him, to minister before him and to burn incense.”

My sons, don’t fail to obey the Lord. He has chosen you to stand in front of him and work for him. He wants you to serve him and burn incense to him.”

My sons, do not now be negligent, for the Lord has chosen you to stand in his presence, to minister to him and to be his ministers and make offerings to him.”

My sons, do not neglect your duties any longer! The Lord has chosen you to stand in his presence, to minister to him, and to lead the people in worship and present offerings to him.”

My sons, don’t be negligent now, for the LORD has chosen you to stand in his presence, to serve him, and to be his ministers and burners of incense.”

不要自欺，上帝是轻慢不得的。人种什么收什么。顺从罪恶的本性撒种的，必从罪恶的本性收取败坏的恶果；顺从圣灵撒种的，必从圣灵收取永生。

那时，耶和华把利未支派分别出来，派他们抬祂的约柜，站立在祂面前事奉祂，奉祂的名祝福，至今未变。

“你去叫利未支派来协助亚伦祭司。他们要为亚伦和全体会众在会幕司职，办理圣幕的事务，也要负责看守会幕里面的器具，为以色列人办理圣幕的事务。你要把利未人交给亚伦父子们，因为他们是从以色列人中选出来协助亚伦的。

你和你儿子在安放约柜的圣幕供职时，要把你们利未支派的亲族也一同带去，让他们协助你。他们要遵守你的吩咐，看守整个圣幕，但不可接近圣所的器具和祭坛，以免他们和你们都死亡。他们要协助你，负责看守圣幕，办理圣幕的一切事务。外人不可靠近。你们要看守圣所和祭坛，以免我的愤怒再临到以色列人。我已从以色列人中选出你们的利未亲族归给我，协助你们在会幕中司职。你和你儿子要尽祭司的本分，负责祭坛和至圣所的一切事务。祭司的职分是我赏赐给你们的，外人若近前来，必被处死。”

耶和华又降下烈火，烧死了那二百五十个献香的人。耶和华对摩西说：“你叫亚伦祭司的儿子以利亚撒去从火中把香炉捡起来，把炭火撒在远处，因为那些香炉是圣洁的。要把那些因犯罪而丧命之人的香炉打成薄片，用来包祭坛，因为那些香炉曾被献在耶和华面前，是圣洁的，并且可让以色列人引以为戒。”于是，以利亚撒祭司取来被烧死之人所献的铜香炉，叫人打成薄片用来包祭坛，让以色列人引以为戒，使亚伦子孙以外的人不致到耶和华面前烧香，以免像可拉及其同伙一样灭亡。这是按照耶和华借摩西的吩咐做的。

“你要把利未人从其他以色列人中分别出来，洁净他们。要用以下的方法洁净他们，把洁净水洒在他们身上，叫他们用剃刀剃净全身，洗净衣服，这样他们就洁净了。然后叫他们带来一头公牛犊及作素祭的调了油的细面粉，你要另献一头公牛犊作赎罪祭。你要招聚以色列全体会众，将利未人带到会幕前，带到耶和华面前，会众要按手在他们身上。亚伦要把他们献给耶和华，作为以色列人献的摇祭，使他们可以事奉耶和华。利未人要按手在那两头公牛的头上，然后你要把一头作为赎罪祭，一头作为燔祭献给耶和华，好为利未人赎罪。你要让利未人站在亚伦父子们面前，把他们当作摇祭献给耶和华。这样，你就把利未人从其他以色列人中分别出来，使他们归给我。
