But a prophet of the Lord named Oded was there, and he went out to meet the army when it returned to Samaria. He said to them,“ Because the Lord, the God of your ancestors, was angry with Judah, he gave them into your hand. But you have slaughtered them in a rage that reaches to heaven.

But a prophet of the Lord was there. His name was Oded. When the army returned to Samaria, he went out to meet them. He said to them,“ The Lord is the God of your people. He was very angry with Judah. So he handed them over to you. But you have killed them. Your anger reached all the way to heaven.

But a prophet of the Lord was there, whose name was Oded, and he went out to meet the army that came to Samaria and said to them,“ Behold, because the Lord, the God of your fathers, was angry with Judah, he gave them into your hand, but you have killed them in a rage that has reached up to heaven.

He went out to meet them and said,“ The Lord, the God of your ancestors, was angry with Judah and let you defeat them. But you have gone too far, killing them without mercy, and all heaven is disturbed.

But a prophet of Jehovah was there, whose name was Oded: and he went out to meet the host that came to Samaria, and said unto them, Behold, because Jehovah, the God of your fathers, was wroth with Judah, he hath delivered them into your hand, and ye have slain them in a rage which hath reached up unto heaven.

Oded, a prophet of the LORD, was there. He went to meet the army as they arrived in Samaria and said to them:“ Look, because the LORD God of your ancestors was angry with Judah he handed them over to you. You have killed them so mercilessly that God has taken notice.

But a prophet of Yahweh was there, whose name was Oded; and he went out to meet the army that came to Samaria, and said to them,“ Behold, because Yahweh, the God of your fathers, was angry with Judah, he has delivered them into your hand, and you have slain them in a rage which has reached up to heaven.

昔耶和華震怒厥民、以其地付爾、俾染污俗、乃爾不以矜憫為懷、使其父老、負戴重軛、

罪惡滔天、其不義、上帝錄之、

曰、我上帝歟、予覺赧然、不敢仰視、蓋我眾罪惡滔天、幾至滅頂。

昔我微怒斯民、異邦安佚之人、加我民以患難、我深為不悅、

主耶和華曰、以東攻猶大以雪其忿、干犯於我。故我耶和華必擊以東、俾人畜俱無噍類、使提慢荒蕪、底但人飲刃、我震怒以東、必使我民以色列族、侵伐其土地、以雪我忿、使知我實降是災、我耶和華已言之矣。主耶和華曰、非利士人藏匿舊怨、中心叵測、以害我民、故我耶和華必擊非利士人、殺基利族、海濱居民、殲滅殆盡、大降患難、重罰其罪、使知我耶和華實降是災。

昔雅各家與以掃族、兄弟也、尚加以虐遇、故必抱愧、淪胥以亡、當日爾立於旁、見異邦人入其軍旅、入其邑門、為耶路撒冷人掣籤、爾若與同謀、向爾昆弟猶大、為人薄待、爾奚可旁觀、彼幾攖殺戮、爾奚可欣喜、彼備嘗困苦、爾奚可加以悔慢、我民遘難、所遭孔迫、爾奚可入其邑門、彼罹災害、爾奚可攘其貨財、如有免於難者、爾奚可立於險隘之區、絕其歸途、如有遺民、爾奚可因其艱難之日、付於敵手、耶和華督責列邦、其日伊邇、必視爾所為、以加諸爾、爾所作之事、必報應於一身、昔猶大人居我聖山、而飲苦杯、列邦之人、亦必群飲、且飲且啜、歸於死亡、

故耶和華怒以色列族、付之於米所波大米王、古山哩薩田、為其役事、凡歷八年。

先知之徒曰、耶和華云、我欲殲滅者、爾反釋之、故必以爾命償其命、以爾民代其民。

先知以賽亞見希西家王曰、此人奚自、與爾何言。希西家曰、來自遠方、即巴比倫、曰、彼在宮闈、所見何物。希西家曰、凡宮闈府庫之物、悉令觀焉。

又曰、共相建邑、經營層臺、高及霄漢、名藉以揚、庶免四方散處。

上帝耶和華使亞蘭王擊敗之、虜眾至大馬色、後又使以色列王擊之、戮民無數。

先知覲以色列王曰、當益爾軍旅、謹爾作為、明年亞蘭王必復至、以攻擊爾。

人子、昔耶路撒冷遭難之日、推羅之人譏之、曰、吁哉、民出入之所、其邑已破、民必歸余、皆屬我矣。故主耶和華曰、我必罰推羅、使列邦攻之、若海水泛濫、

我震怒斯民、使亞述人、為杖箠以擊之、亞述人亦有禍矣、我民偽善、我必震怒、使亞述人擊之、攘奪其貨、蹂躪其身、若逵衢之糞壤。亞述人之所為、非欲成我之志、其意乃為翦滅列邦。

爾鞭予、彼加傷害、爾扑予、彼興謠諑兮、

侮慢之人、我不樂與之坐、爾言降災、予懷歉仄、默然獨坐。予創傷未痊、殘缺未醫、曷故。爾之待我、若泉之忽竭、使人絕望、曷故。

猶大王約沙法歸耶路撒冷、回宮無恙、先見者哈拿尼、其子耶戶、出迓之、告曰、不義者爾反助之、憾耶和華者、爾反愛之、獨何與。耶和華震怒以此。

耶和華震怒、遣先知告亞馬謝曰、爾戮異邦人、其上帝猶不能援手、爾反崇之曷故。言時、王阻之、曰、爾非言官、諫我奚為、獨不畏罪乎。先知不敢復諫、曰、爾弗聽從、我知上帝必敗爾。

曰、爾果何為、爾弟之血有聲、自地籲我。

有先知覲以色列王亞哈曰、耶和華云、此實繁有徒者、爾見之乎、今日我必付於爾手、使爾知我乃耶和華。
