謂之曰、爾其謹慎靜謐、勿因此餘燼、有煙之二炬、利汛亞蘭、及利瑪利子之烈怒、畏懼心怯、亞蘭與以法蓮、及利瑪利子、同謀害爾、

耶和華必使爾為敵所敗、爾攻之也由一途、爾逃之也由七途、拋棄於天下萬國之中、

如爾背爾上帝耶和華所命之約、崇事他神、而跪拜之、耶和華必震怒乎爾、致爾速亡於其所賜之美地、

是時耶和華始遣亞蘭王利汛、及利瑪利子比加、往攻猶大、

列邦人皆問曰、耶和華何為行此於斯土、其怒若是之烈、果何故乎、人將對曰、其祖之上帝耶和華、導之出埃及時、與之立約、而彼背之、奉事崇拜他神、素所未識、耶和華亦未嘗聽其服從者、

地為居民污衊、以其犯法律、違典章、背厥永約、故地亡於咒詛、處其上者干咎、居民被燬、所餘無幾、

如爾不聽爾上帝耶和華之言、不守其誡命典章、我今日所諭爾者、則此諸詛、必臨及爾、

曰、我將掩面、不加眷顧、觀其終局如何、彼乃乖戾之族、無誠信之子女、

乃出迎亞撒、謂之曰、亞撒及猶大便雅憫眾歟、其聽我言、爾若從耶和華、耶和華則偕爾、爾若求之、則必遇之、爾若棄彼、彼必棄爾、

爾之罪惡必自懲、爾之悖逆必自責、可知離棄爾上帝耶和華、不存寅畏之心、乃惡而且苦之事、萬軍之主耶和華言之矣、

耶和華曰、爾既棄我、背我而往、故我舉手、攻爾滅爾、我之回意、屢而憊矣、

悖逆與獲罪者同亡、離棄耶和華者被滅、

勿從四周諸民之神、恐爾上帝耶和華震怒、滅爾於地、蓋在爾中之上帝耶和華、乃忌邪之上帝也、○

亞比雅與其民大行殺戮、以色列之選兵、隕沒者五十萬、

耶和華諭摩西曰、爾與列祖偕眠、斯民必於所至之地、狥欲從異族之神、離棄我、背我與立之約、是日我必怒而棄之、掩面不顧、使被吞噬、多遭災禍、時彼必曰、此災臨我、豈非以我上帝不在我中乎、
