Even if you go and fight courageously in battle, God will overthrow you before the enemy, for God has the power to help or to overthrow.”

Go and fight bravely in battle if you want to. But God will destroy you right in front of your enemies. God has the power to help you or destroy you.”

But go, act, be strong for the battle. Why should you suppose that God will cast you down before the enemy? For God has power to help or to cast down.”

The Lord nullifies the plan of nations; He frustrates the plans of peoples.

Bring down, Lord, Your warriors.Let the nations be awakened And come up to the Valley of Jehoshaphat, For there I will sit to judge All the surrounding nations.Put in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe. Come, tread the grapes, for the wine press is full; The vats overflow, for their wickedness is great.Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision.

When he came to the king, the king said to him,“ Micaiah, should we go to battle against Ramoth gilead, or should I refrain?” He said,“ Go up and succeed, for they will be handed over to you!”

The king is not saved by a mighty army; A warrior is not rescued by great strength.

The earth is the Lord’s, and all it contains, The world, and those who live in it.

For He inflicts pain, and gives relief; He wounds, but His hands also heal.

But you are to remember the Lord your God, for it is He who is giving you power to make wealth, in order to confirm His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.

Then Jonathan said to the young man who was carrying his armor,“ Come, and let’s cross over to the garrison of these uncircumcised men; perhaps the Lord will work for us, because the Lord is not limited to saving by many or by few!”

Rejoice, young man, during your childhood, and let your heart be pleasant during the days of young manhood. And follow the impulses of your heart and the desires of your eyes. Yet know that God will bring you to judgment for all these things.
